In June of 2015, the European Centre for Law and Justice released a report entitled \u201cLate Term Abortion & Neonatal Infanticide in Europe,\u201d<\/a> which documented instances\u00a0of aborted babies born alive. These babies were not allowed to survive. They were either killed by direct action or neglected so that they died\u00a0of exposure and prematurity. \u00a0Most of these babies were viable (i.e. able to live outside the woman’s body, albeit with medical intervention).<\/p>\n

In the report, a midwife tells her story and comments on the callous way aborted babies were treated.<\/p>\n

From Mrs. A., a midwife in a University Hospital in Finist\u00e8re, France:<\/p>\n

In my first year of studying to become a midwife, I witnessed once again the birth of a child born alive after an abortion on medical grounds. This took place in 2000 in a Hospital in the West of France. Under most abortions on medical grounds, the fetus dies during labor, but exceptionally, this time the fetus was born alive. He survived a few minutes without being treated and died.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She then reveals:<\/p>\n

Moreover, fetuses aborted following an abortion on medical grounds are most of the time \u201cborn dead\u201d; a doctor comes to draw up the administrative act and performs a pathological anatomy. In these cases I was repeatedly shocked by the lack of respect doctors had for these bodies born lifeless. Since I\u2019m a midwife, I accompanied pregnancies many times with \u201caccidental\u201d premature births. In these cases we have accompanying procedures planned for the parents to mourn.<\/p>\n

There was then respect for a fetus 20 to 24 weeks who is considered as the body of a human person. In the case of a termination of pregnancy, there is no respect for the child born dead, which are thrown away.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Even in death, unwanted babies are treated differently than wanted ones. If the mother wants the baby, every effort is made to save the child. If the child dies despite the doctors\u2019 efforts, the baby\u2019s body is treated with respect. An unwanted baby\u2019s body is treated like garbage \u2013 mutilated for spare parts and then disposed of\u00a0as \u201cmedical waste.\u201d Aborted babies have been ground-up in garbage disposals<\/a>,\u00a0disposed of\u00a0in landfills<\/a>,\u00a0and flushed down toilets<\/a>.\u00a0Funeral home employees have been horrified<\/a> at\u00a0the way abortionists treated aborted babies’ bodies.<\/p>\n

It makes sense that those who kill unborn children would have no respect for their remains. In 2013, I wrote an article about how some clinic workers played catch with the bodies of aborted children.<\/p>\n

According to Father Frank Pavone<\/a>, who has counseled former clinic workers:<\/p>\n

Former workers in the abortion industry have told us stories about playing games of toss with aborted babies in the hallway. Your mind has to invert what is going on: to make it a game, a joke, something positive. It\u2019s the only way to keep from going crazy \u2014 and some of them do.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Is it really surprising that abortion providers show extreme disrespect\u00a0for the bodies of the babies they’ve killed? \u00a0Why respect the body of someone you \u00a0just murdered?\u00a0 Tossing around or manhandling dead babies is consistent with the pro-abortion philosophy that only wanted babies are valuable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
