Callender died just three days later from cancer.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->After two years of battling stage four brain and lung cancer, Callender had become weak and was unable to attend her daughter&#8217;s ultrasound appointment. Masilotti asked the hospital if they could do the ultrasound in her mother&#8217;s hospital room. They agreed, and it is now a memory Masilotti will treasure forever and can share with her child.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fphoto.php%3Ffbid%3D10210012415003850%26set%3Da.1599292179110.2083598.1140194293%26type%3D3&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"608\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Are your ready? You have a daughter,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DI4nyOL_CPM\">says the ultrasound technician<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;No way!&#8221; replies Callender as she reaches over to pat Masilotti&#8217;s face.<\/p>\n<p>The technician goes on to describe the baby saying she has &#8220;nice long legs&#8221; and pointing out her &#8220;nice big kneecaps.&#8221; She discusses the umbilical cord and points out the &#8220;future belly button.&#8221; She also points out the baby girl&#8217;s hands, belly, head, and eyes and that she is sitting with her ankles crossed.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fphoto.php%3Ffbid%3D10210040634389317%26set%3Da.3610135968948.2167217.1140194293%26type%3D3&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"484\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Watch right here,&#8221; the technician says. &#8220;See it. The smile. See that smile. This is the chin right here.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The video was filmed on July 27 and Masilotti shared a short version of it on July 29. I can&#8217;t thank the hospital enough for allowing this to happen. For allowing me to create my last memory with my mom !! I am forever grateful !
