Actor Jim Caviezel is an outspoken advocate for the preborn and their right to life.<\/p>\n

Caviezel\u00a0is\u00a0best known for his roles as Jesus in \u201cThe Passion of the Christ\u201d and John Reese in the hit TV series \u201cPerson of Interest.\u201d In 2013, Caviezel\u00a0spoke to a group at Rock Church in San Diego<\/a> about the \u201cgreat sin\u201d in America, and directed his message to women and men who\u2019ve been impacted by abortion.<\/p>\n

\u201cMany people are a part of this great sin in this country,\u201d Caviezel said. \u201cThese are all God\u2019s children and He brings them home.\u201d<\/p>\n

Caviezel talked about forgiveness and the millions of preborn children killed by abortion<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cGod forgives you and now He needs you to begin, to accept forgiveness,\u201d Caviezel said. \u201cMany people are part of this great sin in this country\u2026 over 50 million in the United States alone, and 45 million die every year in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Caviezel is not bothered by his opposition to abortion affecting his acting career. In a 2009 interview with Catholic Digest<\/a>, he spoke about his pro-woman, pro-life stance on abortion.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, I am for helping women. I just don\u2019t see abortion as helping women,\u201d Caviezel said. \u201cAnd I don\u2019t love my career that much to say, \u2018I\u2019m going to remain silent on this.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Caviezel\u2019s role as John Reese in \u201cPerson of Interest\u201d came to end with the show\u2019s season finale in June 2016.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
