Daily Show<\/i> host Trevor Noah has accused<\/a> others of scientific illiteracy on climate change. That\u2019s interesting, because it sounds like Mr. Noah could use a lesson when it comes to biology.<\/p>\n

Recently, he suggested that Sen. Marco Rubio could get pregnant…after being raped by \u201ca giant mosquito.\u201d At this point, you might be hoping these comments will make sense once they\u2019re put in context.<\/p>\n

You can stop.<\/p>\n

Florida is experiencing an outbreak of the Zika virus. Spread by mosquitoes, it\u2019s linked to microcephaly in preborn children, a condition<\/a> affecting head size and brain development. While some contend it justifies late term abortion, Rubio disagrees:<\/p>\n

When you present it in the context of Zika or any prenatal condition, it\u2019s a difficult question and a hard one. But if I\u2019m going to err, I\u2019m going to err on the side of life. . . . I\u2019m not pretending to you that that\u2019s an easy question you asked me. But I\u2019m pro-life. And I\u2019m strongly pro-life. I believe all human life should be protected by our law, irrespective of the circumstances or condition of that life.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Trevor Noah responded with this:<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish a giant mosquito would f*** Rubio and leave him pregnant with a Zika baby. Then we\u2019ll see how much he believes in those laws.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Obviously, Noah has gotten some bad information regarding human reproduction. But it doesn’t stop there: he believes an abortion only affects the woman having it. Noah proclaimed, \u201cI don\u2019t understand how any man thinks that he has the right to dictate to women what they should do with their body.\u201d Someone should probably ask him whose heartbeat<\/a> he thinks an abortion stops.<\/p>\n
