Even among supporters, there\u2019s sharp debate over what crimes deserve the death penalty. Mass murder? Treason? How about being \u201cunwanted?\u201d That last one is surprisingly popular.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-99096 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Unwanted-babies-edited-700x85.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"85\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Unwanted-babies-edited-700x85.jpg 700w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Unwanted-babies-edited-700x85-300x36.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The idea that we should execute undesired children is bad enough; it gets worse when you see what that can involve. While the Supreme Court <a href=\"https:\/\/supreme.justia.com\/cases\/federal\/us\/99\/130\/case.html\">has said<\/a> dismembering a murderer would constitute \u201ccruel and unusual punishment,\u201d a second trimester baby is fair game.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abortionprocedures.com\/\">Dr. Anthony Levatino<\/a> is an obstetrician-gynecologist who\u2019s done over 1,200 abortions, and in the video below, he explains how it\u2019s done.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jgw4X7Dw_3k\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">After the amniotic fluid is removed, the abortionist uses a sopher clamp \u2014 a grasping instrument with rows of sharp \u201cteeth\u201d \u2014 to grasp and pull the baby\u2019s arms and legs, tearing the limbs from the child\u2019s body.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The abortionist continues to grasp intestines, spine, heart, lungs, and any other limbs or body parts. The most difficult part of the procedure is usually finding, grasping and crushing the baby\u2019s head.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">After removing pieces of the child\u2019s skull, the abortionist uses a curette to scrape the uterus and remove the placenta and any remaining parts of the baby.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>But here\u2019s the thing about these \u201cunwanted\u201d babies: they\u2019re actually not.<\/p>\n<p>If you aren&#8217;t ready to be a parent, then you might hear how forgoing abortion means \u201cgiving up\u201d your child to \u201cthe system.\u201d It doesn\u2019t: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.childwelfare.gov\/pubPDFs\/foster.pdf\">according to<\/a> the Department of Health and Human Services, the median age for children entering foster care in 2014 was 6.4. And most weren\u2019t weren\u2019t \u201cgiven up\u201d but taken from their parents.<\/p>\n<p>In reality, couples hoping to adopt <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/2011\/11\/17\/142344354\/fewer-babies-available-for-adoption-by-u-s-parents\">outnumber<\/a> available infants, which is why many have turned to websites like <a href=\"http:\/\/adoption.com\/\">Adoption.com<\/a>. There, aspiring parents who&#8217;ve been approved by a licensed adoption agency can create a profile introducing themselves.<\/p>\n<p>Expectant moms are then able to search profiles by location, religion, family size, and other criteria. The site also provides <a href=\"http:\/\/adoption.com\/wiki\/Pregnancy\">pregnancy-related<\/a> information and <a href=\"http:\/\/adoption.com\/birth-parents\/birth-family-birth-mother-stories\/\">first-hand accounts<\/a> from women who\u2019ve been through the adoption process. You can find additional information about pregnancy and adoption along with material support at pregnancy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.care-net.org\/\">care centers<\/a> as well.<\/p>\n<p>People will continue to argue over who (if anyone) is worthy of death.
