In 2008, Live Action founder Lila Rose told a Planned Parenthood counselor she was 14 and pregnant by her 31 year-old boyfriend. Using a hidden camera, Rose recorded the response<\/a>: lie about his age when seeking an abortion. Under a proposed California law<\/a>, this shocking footage would have resulted in criminal charges.<\/p>\n

For whoever posted it.<\/p>\n

Assembly Bill 1671 passed California\u2019s lower chamber in May and is now before the state Senate. The legislation would make posting photographs or video footage of abortion staff or volunteers a crime, punishable by up to a year in jail.<\/p>\n

Its sponsor, CA Assemblyman Jimmy Gomez, has received\u00a0an award<\/a> from Planned Parenthood,\u00a0America\u2019s largest abortion chain<\/a>. I can see why Planned Parenthood would appreciate his bill; after all, it can be a problem when the group\u2019s personnel get recorded.<\/p>\n

They don\u2019t come off well.<\/p>\n

Amy Woodruff didn\u2019t. In 2011, the Planned Parenthood clinic director was caught offering to arrange abortions on underage prostitutes who \u201ccan\u2019t speak English<\/a>\u201d and \u201cwon\u2019t know what\u2019s going on<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Neither did Planned Parenthood\u2019s Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola. In undercover footage<\/a> released last year by the Center Medical Progress (CMP), Nucatola can be heard bragging<\/a> about how she could do a late-term abortion and still harvest the baby\u2019s organs:<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I\u2019m not gonna crush that part, I\u2019m gonna basically crush below, I\u2019m gonna crush above, and I\u2019m gonna see if I can get it all intact.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

There\u2019s evidence a fetus can feel pain<\/a> at 20 weeks. Dr. Nucatola will \u201ccrush\u201d them at 24<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dr. Savita Ginde didn\u2019t come off well at all, either. In the video above, Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains\u2019 medical director referred to a fetus she aborted as \u201ca baby<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Of course these aren\u2019t the only videos that Planned Parenthood would rather you not hear—Live Action has plenty of others<\/a>. They feature offers to abort girls<\/a>, facilitate child abuse<\/a>, and target minority children<\/a>. However, if you feel like you\u2019ve already seen enough of this sort of thing, then I\u2019ve got a suggestion: stop funding it.<\/p>\n

\"NewDefundAd3\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Tell Congress<\/a> that Planned Parenthood\u2019s half billion<\/a> dollar subsidy should go to federally qualified health centers<\/a> (FQHCs) and community health centers<\/a> (CHCs) instead. They\u2019re more accessible<\/a> and provide more services: while FQHCs performed over five hundred thousand<\/a> mammograms last year, Planned Parenthood did zero<\/a>.<\/p>\n
