NARAL Pro-Choice America is one of the nation\u2019s loudest abortion advocacy groups, and they recently put out a video<\/a>. While it contains a few messages, two really stand out. The first is that fetuses are people. The second? Aborting them is hilarious.<\/p>\n

Called \u201cComedians in Cars Getting Abortions,\u201d the production follows HBO\u2019s Alice Wetterlund as she goes to an abortion facility. During the trip, Wetterlund explains, \u201cI want an abortion because my body is doing a thing right now\u2014 that is not incubating a person\u2014 and I would like it to continue doing that thing.\u201d Obviously, this implies pregnant women actually do<\/i> start incubating people at some point\u00a0\u2014\u00a0NARAL just doesn\u2019t say when.<\/p>\n

They might think it\u2019s when a heartbeat<\/a> first appears; that\u2019s less than a month following conception. Or perhaps it\u2019s at 10\u00a0weeks, when a baby has unique fingerprints<\/a>. Maybe it\u2019s at 20, when research indicates a baby can feel pain<\/a>. Dr. Anthony Levatino is an obstetrician-gynecologist who\u2019s done over 1,200 abortions, and in the clip below, he explains what an abortion at that stage consists of.<\/p>\n
