The provision is similar to measures that have passed in several states.\u00a0Texas Right to Life reports:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause the abortion industry never challenged the provision of HB 2 which protects pain-capable preborn children from excruciating dismemberment abortions from 20 weeks gestation, a measure on the 2013 Priority Pro-Life Legislative Agenda, spearheaded by Texas Right to Life, that provision of the law will remain in effect.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>National polls show that Americans are increasingly pro-life and oppose abortions in the late-term. Several states have banned second trimester D&amp;E abortion\u00a0procedures, which dismember a preborn child limb from torso,\u00a0while other states passed legislation prohibiting\u00a0abortions after 20 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Anthony Levatino, a former abortionist, describes a second trimester abortion procedure in the following video.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fliveaction%2Fvideos%2F10153921470903728%2F&#038;show_text=0&#038;width=560\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowTransparency=\"true\" allowFullScreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Justices on the high court ruled 5-3 today against requirements for abortionists to obtain hospital admitting privileges and for abortion facilities to upgrade to basic ambulatory surgical center
