Her name is Lily and her mother calls her \u201camazing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->\u201cWhen she gets it in her head that she wants to do something, she does it,\u201d says her mother Natalie, who is clearly proud of her daughter.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/W5k-vqVNNwo\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Lily is kind, beautiful, intelligent, well-spoken, and happy \u2013 things some people believe are impossible when you have Down syndrome. These groups, including Planned Parenthood, are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2016\/04\/07\/planned-parenthood-sues-to-overturn-law-banning-abortions-on-babies-with-down-syndrome\/\">fighting hard<\/a> against <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2016\/03\/24\/indiana-becomes-second-state-to-ban-abortions-based-on-down-syndrome\/\">bills passed<\/a> in North Dakota and Indiana to ban abortion based on a Down syndrome diagnosis.<\/p>\n<p>Up to 90% of preborn children diagnosed with Down syndrome are aborted, often times because doctors give parents <a href=\"\/news\/doctors-respond-to-parents-of-down-syndrome-newborns-with-cruelty-and-callousness\/\">outdated and even false information<\/a> about what life is like for someone with Down syndrome.
