In fact, the headline asserts their premise:\u00a0<strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/rewire.news\/article\/2016\/05\/10\/crisis-pregnancy-centers-pretty-bad-dissuading-people-seeking-abortion\/\">Crisis Pregnancy Centers Are Pretty Bad at Dissuading People Seeking Abortion<\/a><\/em><\/strong>. Given Rewire\u2019s ideology, the headline would accurately describe their perspective if shortened to \u201cCPCs are pretty bad.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the article, which you can\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/rewire.news\/article\/2016\/05\/10\/crisis-pregnancy-centers-pretty-bad-dissuading-people-seeking-abortion\/\">read here<\/a><\/strong>, they use seeming discrepancies in published statistics, and then reflect the smallest, most narrowly-defined, partial statistic of only definitively known outcomes \u2013 as the measure of our \u201csuccess.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With some sleight of hand, yellow journalistic techniques, you\u2019re supposed to believe that CPCs are not really making a difference, and yet soaking up life-minded dollars to do so.\u00a0But the very existence of the article suggests exactly the opposite.<\/p>\n<p>If CPCs are so\u00a0<em>\u201cbad at dissuading people seeking abortion\u201d<\/em>\u00a0why run the article at all? Why not just let these \u201canti-choice\u201d hicks spend their money uselessly on ineffective outreach?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/AbortionProcedures.com\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-88619\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/levatino-ad-LAN.jpg\" alt=\"levatino-ad-LAN\" width=\"306\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/levatino-ad-LAN.jpg 306w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/levatino-ad-LAN-300x221.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 306px) 100vw, 306px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yet, Big Abortion, via Rewire, has put time, talent (in propaganda, not journalism), and treasure, into intentionally discrediting the good work of pregnancy help centers.<\/p>\n<p>With\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/planned-parenthood-numbers-looking-good-for-us\">abortion numbers declining<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and more states\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/wisconsin-defundpp\">discontinuing funding<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0for the largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, it only makes sense to lash out at their primary competition. Namely, life-affirming pregnancy help organizations that provide their services at no cost to that woman in need.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s true that not every encounter leads to a successful outcome \u2013 if we only count babies or lives \u201csaved.\u201d But in reality the encounter itself \u2013 or the faithfulness to be there for her (or him) in the \u201cvalley of decision\u201d regarding life and death \u2013 is a success in itself. It is enough to be and speak for the Giver of Life and champion the Gift of Life.<\/p>\n<p>In truth, we haven\u2019t \u201csaved\u201d any babies. The mothers do that.
