The House Select Panel on Infant Lives, which is investigating the abortion industry’s practices related to the procurement and sale of organs form aborted babies, has subpoenaed<\/a> infamous late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart to answer questions about his own conduct.<\/p>\n

The panel issued a total of eight subpoenas to Carhart himself, his Maryland abortion facility Germantown Reproductive Health Services, and a number of emergency dispatchers and medical facilities familiar with him and his activities. They are investigating not only whether he participated in illegally profiting off baby parts, but allegations that he killed born babies as well as harmed or killed patients.Carhart has been required to provide records \u201cof costs and expenses associated with fetal tissue acquisition\u201d and \u201call entities and\/or persons to which” he has “transferred fetal tissue,” as well as documents on \u201call disciplinary actions taken, or threatened, against\u201d him by May 23, and to personally appear for a deposition on June 13.<\/p>\n

\u201cReports regarding the Germantown clinic are deeply troubling, both for the sake of babies whose lives are ended so close to \u2013 and possibly even after \u2013 birth and for the sake of the women who have been rushed from that clinic to the hospital with increasing frequency,\u201d Select Panel Chair Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) said. “Time is of the essence.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Carhart’s entry<\/a> in Live Action’s Inhuman investigation, his misconduct includes falsifying patient records, falling asleep and talking on the phone during abortions, employing untrained medical workers, the internal bleeding death of patient Jennifer Morbelli, investigation for illegal dumping of biohazardous waste and private patient information, having his own dogs and horses taken away for neglect, and falsely claiming he only performed late-term abortions for birth defects and fetal abnormalities.<\/p>\n
