If someone says that \u201cnobody likes abortion,\u201d assume the following: they\u2019re either lying or misinformed. Because the fact is, some people do<\/i> like it<\/a>–for obvious reasons.<\/p>\n

Child rapists like using abortion to hide abuse<\/a>. That\u2019s not hard when staff at Planned Parenthood (America\u2019s largest abortion chain<\/a>) think \u201cbeing thirteen and pregnant alone is not a red flag<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Similarly, human traffickers<\/a> like how abortion keeps their victims working. Racists<\/a> and those wishing to abort their daughters<\/a> value it too.<\/p>\n

\u201cPickup artists<\/a>\u201d (PUAs) appreciate abortion; Christian McQueen explained why in \u201cThe Ten Slut Commandments,\u201d a guide on how to \u201cexploit\u201d and \u201cuse\u201d women with \u201clow self-esteem\u201d and \u201cdaddy issues.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"ChristianAnd while PUAs like abortion, abortion advocates seem to like PUAs; or at least their tactics, anyway. Specifically, they’ve embraced a technique known as \u201cnegative game.\u201d The approach involves trying to build insecurity and using it to your advantage, a strategy pro-aborts know all about.<\/p>\n

You see it a lot online: people suggest that banning abortion will reduce women to \u201ccattle,\u201d or \u201cincubators.\u201d The implication of course is that without the abortion industry, women are no different than animals or machines.<\/p>\n

You can also see it in headlines like this:<\/p>\n

The writer argues that because abortion is outlawed in Northern Ireland, women have no autonomy there… which would probably come as a surprise to the woman who governs<\/em><\/a> Northern Ireland (and who, incidentally, favors keeping abortion illegal).<\/p>\n

The claim that women need abortion to separate them from livestock isn\u2019t exactly easy to take seriously. However, there\u2019s another claim that has<\/em> gotten traction: that Americans need Planned Parenthood to deliver health care. They don\u2019t.<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood receives half a billion<\/a> dollars from Washington every year despite a litany of scandals. Tell Congress<\/a> that money should go to federally qualified health centers<\/a> (FQHC) and community health centers<\/a> (CHCs) instead. FQHCs and CHCs are more accessible<\/a> than Planned Parenthood is, and they offer services that Planned Parenthood won\u2019t<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The group New Wave Feminists<\/a> recently put out a video<\/a> explaining why women don\u2019t need abortion. It\u2019s time to let lawmakers know that taxpayers don’t need Planned Parenthood either.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
