Her twins were born at 36 weeks, and yet, abortion is still legal up until the moment of birth in a number of states.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Mother Whitney Tittle Sanders shared** on her personal page:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Bernie and Hillary are both in support of late term abortions. Bernie opposes any restrictions on abortion in general. Under such laws, up to 36 weeks, abortion would be legal. You ask me why I care so much? Meet my 36 weekers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fphoto.php%3Ffbid%3D10208514909042766%26set%3Da.4359687142888.2174276.1009050046%26type%3D3&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"689\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe>In fact, only four states ban late-term abortion, with the only exception for the life of the mother.<\/p>\n<p>Nine states <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guttmacher.org\/sites\/default\/files\/pdfs\/spibs\/spib_PLTA.pdf\">require<\/a> that &#8220;a second physician certify that the abortion is medically necessary in all or some circumstances&#8221; before a late-term abortion can be committed, and seven states allow exceptions only for the life or the actual physical health of the mother.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.abortionprocedures.com\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-88619 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/levatino-ad-LAN.jpg\" alt=\"levatino-ad-LAN\" width=\"306\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/levatino-ad-LAN.jpg 306w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/levatino-ad-LAN-300x221.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 306px) 100vw, 306px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But, due to broad exceptions for fetal abnormality, rape and incest, and the widely interpreted &#8220;health&#8221; of the mother (which, under many interpretations can even include financial health), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guttmacher.org\/sites\/default\/files\/pdfs\/spibs\/spib_PLTA.pdf\">the majority of state<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.guttmacher.org\/sites\/default\/files\/pdfs\/spibs\/spib_PLTA.pdf\">s<\/a> still allow abortion until the moment of birth.<\/p>\n<p>** Live Action News has confirmed that mother Ashley Costanzo is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo.php?fbid=10209196972709289&amp;set=a.1965381582103.2119739.1469790071&amp;type=3&amp;theater\">the original author<\/a> of this Facebook post on late-term abortion that has gone viral. A number of other parents have copied Ashley&#8217;s quote, along with photos of their own preemies, and posted\u00a0it to their Facebook pages.
