Following a win in New York’s primary, Donald Trump took to NBC’s Today on Thursday morning\u00a0to express his opinions on abortion, an issue which he has been unpredictable on at times. Specifically, Trump argued that the official GOP platform should be changed<\/a> to allow for abortion in cases of rape, incest, and\u00a0life of the mother.<\/p>\n

Host Savannah Guthrie brought up the issue, noting that the Republican Party platform “makes no exceptions for rape, for incest, for the life of the mother,” then asking Trump, “Would you want to change the Republican platform to include the (abortion) exceptions that you have?”<\/p>\n

“Yes, I would. Yes, I would. Absolutely,”\u00a0replied Trump.\u00a0“For the three exceptions, I would.”<\/p>\n
