But while <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ibtimes.com\/selective-abortion-female-fetuses-india-creating-gender-imbalance-crisis-793298\">some nations<\/a> have tried to curb gender selective-abortion, Canada hasn\u2019t: the Canadian Medical Association Journal described the country as \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/fullcomment.nationalpost.com\/2012\/12\/19\/barbara-kay-on-sex-selective-abortion-the-war-on-women-that-dares-not-speak-its-name\/\">a haven<\/a>\u201d for those seeking to abort their daughters.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/Sex-selective abortion may be driving boy boom among Indian-born moms in Canada: study\">A new study<\/a> suggests almost 4500 girls were targeted there over the last twenty years.<\/p>\n<p>Granted, Canadian abortionists aren\u2019t the only ones willing to accommodate: Live Action\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/protectourgirls.com\/videos\/\">undercover footage<\/a> has proven that in America, Planned Parenthood is just as eager.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6Fz2KLSxDzc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Keep in mind, parents often don&#8217;t learn their child&#8217;s sex until between 18 and 20 weeks into the pregnancy. Research by Dr. Kanwaljeet Anand at the University of Tennessee indicates a fetus <a href=\"http:\/\/foxx.house.gov\/news\/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=345954\">experiences pain<\/a> by that point; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aul.org\/2008\/03\/fetal-pain-legislation-women-deserve-to-know\/\">there\u2019s evidence<\/a> it can happen even earlier. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abortionprocedures.com\/\">Dr. Anthony Levatino<\/a> has performed over 1200 abortions, and in the video below, he describes what one at 20 weeks involves.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jgw4X7Dw_3k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">After the amniotic fluid is removed, the abortionist uses a sopher clamp \u2014 a grasping instrument with rows of sharp \u201cteeth\u201d \u2014 to grasp and pull the baby\u2019s arms and legs, tearing the limbs from the child\u2019s body. The abortionist continues to grasp intestines, spine, heart, lungs, and any other limbs or body parts. The most difficult part of the procedure is usually finding, grasping and crushing the baby\u2019s head. After removing pieces of the child\u2019s skull, the abortionist uses a curette to scrape the uterus and remove the placenta and any remaining parts of the baby.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Of course, abortion doesn\u2019t just harm girls before they\u2019re born; it helps sex predators abuse them afterwards too.<\/p>\n<p>A Winnipeg man understood that, which is why he brought his 13 year-old stepdaughter in for <a href=\"http:\/\/failover2.cbc.ca\/news\/canada\/manitoba\/girl-s-sex-abuse-went-undetected-despite-2-abortions-before-age-13-1.3144226\">two abortions<\/a> after getting her pregnant; in neither case were authorities alerted. US child rapists have gotten <a href=\"\/news\/trump-says-planned-parenthood-good-work-sex-predators-agree\/\">similar assistance<\/a> from Planned Parenthood: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adfmedia.org\/files\/SiskSkarvanTranscriptPages.pdf\">Timothey Smith<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/archive.lifenews.com\/state3469.html\">Gary Cross<\/a>,<a href=\"\/news\/california-pedophile-used-planned-parenthood-abortion-to-cover-rape\/\"> Luis Gonzalez-Jose<\/a>,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2007\/05\/10\/state-2279\/\"> John Blanks, Jr.<\/a>,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.boston.com\/news\/local\/connecticut\/articles\/2007\/08\/02\/charges_added_in_alleged_abduction\/?camp=pm\"> Adam Gault<\/a>,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2014\/07\/29\/man-takes-pregnant-12-year-old-he-raped-to-three-abortion-clinics-none-report-the-abuse\/\"> Joseph Coles<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/everybodys-mad-about-penn-state-but-planned-parenthood-abuse-cover-up-is-a\"> Kevon Walker<\/a>,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2015\/03\/23\/planned-parenthood-did-two-abortions-on-13-year-old-rape-victim-never-reported-abuse\/\"> Edgar Ramirez<\/a>, and<a href=\"\/news\/california-pedophile-used-planned-parenthood-abortion-to-cover-rape\/\"> Grey David Woods<\/a> all benefited from coverup abortions.<\/p>\n<p>Canadian pundit Robyn Urback <a href=\"http:\/\/news.nationalpost.com\/full-comment\/robyn-urback-how-can-dogmatic-pro-choicers-reconcile-their-defence-of-womans-right-to-choose-but-not-of-a-girls-right-to-live\">recently acknowledged<\/a> how gender-selective abortion \u201cmakes many people \u2014 including the staunchest of pro-choice advocates \u2014 acutely\u00a0uncomfortable.\u201d She declared that \u201cfeminists should ask themselves how they reconcile their defense of a woman\u2019s right to choose but not of a girl\u2019s right to live.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I have to say, I was a little surprised she would cite an unborn child\u2019s \u201cright to live.\u201d According to her, it doesn\u2019t exist.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the piece, Urback insisted that \u201cwomen can choose to terminate a pregnancy for any reason: some feel they are too young, or too old, or not suitably financially secure, or would prefer to focus on their careers, or simply don\u2019t feel like having a child or being pregnant \u2014 now or ever.\u201d Despite this, she went to say, \u201cIt\u2019s possible to both support a woman\u2019s right to choose and reject the notion that aborting a baby because of its sex is acceptable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ummmm&#8230;no. It&#8217;s not.<\/p>\n<p>According to Urback, \u201cthe woman\u2019s quality of life is the deciding factor.\u201d If that\u2019s the case, and if a woman decides having a girl just doesn\u2019t fit with the life she wants, then no one (certainly not a \u201cpro-choice\u201d newspaper columnist) has any business telling her otherwise. After all, a right doesn&#8217;t disappear just because you&#8217;re \u201cuncomfortable\u201d with how someone&#8217;s exercising it. If Ms. Urback feels that \u201cthe right to choose\u201d <em>does<\/em>, then she needs to ask herself how it can be a right at all.<\/p>\n<p>What we don&#8217;t have to ask is how abortion destroys innocent lives&#8211;both in the womb and out. Canadians can help change that by urging Parliament to pass abortion-related legislation (Canada is unique among developed countries in leaving abortion <a href=\"http:\/\/news.nationalpost.com\/full-comment\/jonathan-kay-some-question-for-carolyn-bennett-and-my-other-pro-choice-critics\">virtually unregulated<\/a>). Meanwhile, Americans should tell Congress they want Planned Parenthood\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2015\/10\/14\/4-ways-planned-parenthood-has-billed-taxpayers-for-elective-abortions\/\">half billion<\/a> dollar subsidy sent to <a href=\"http:\/\/getyourcare.org\/\">federally qualified health centers<\/a> and <a href=\"\/news\/new-website-shows-women-have-more-choices-besides-planned-parenthood-for-low-cost-health-care\/\">community health centers<\/a> instead. They can also back <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/sfOOEGb2oZ4\">legislation<\/a> against sex and race-selective abortions.<\/p>\n<p>Robyn Urback admits \u201cit is much harder to think of that baby as just a clump of cells when we know that she has a sex,\u201d which is probably because she <em>isn&#8217;t <\/em>\u201cjust a clump of cells\u201d&#8211;she&#8217;s a person with a right to life.
