height=\"195\" \/>Dear World,<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ve asked, many times, why I work to save \u201cfetuses\u201d instead of helping \u201creal people.\u201d\u00a0 Well, I have a confession to make.\u00a0 I truly do believe that \u201cfetuses\u201d\u2014which, by the way, means <em>little ones<\/em> in Latin\u2014ARE real people.\u00a0 I don\u2019t just say that to make my work sound good.\u00a0 I believe it from the bottom of my heart.\u00a0 Honest science has always stated that human life begins at the moment of fertilization.\u00a0 And I really do believe that every human is a person.\u00a0 It\u2019s common sense to me, and I think, to many.<\/p>\n<p>I confess to you that, in addition to my work for unborn children, I also help many of those you consider \u201creal people.\u201d\u00a0 I\u2019ve built houses for the poor in Mexico.\u00a0 I\u2019ve written letters to lonely soldiers overseas.\u00a0 I\u2019ve brought my children to sing at our local nursing home.\u00a0 I\u2019ve donated stuffed animals, blankets, and books for homeless kids.\u00a0 I\u2019ve given my hard-earned money to orphanages in Africa.\u00a0 I\u2019ve volunteered at my son\u2019s kindergarten class.\u00a0 I\u2019ve even taken in an emergency foster-care baby for two nights.\u00a0 It\u2019s just that these kind of things don\u2019t make the news like the pro-life issue does.\u00a0 And I don\u2019t like to broadcast what I do.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I confess to you that I don\u2019t believe any person on earth should have the choice to kill another innocent human being.\u00a0 A tired, overworked mom who holds down two jobs shouldn\u2019t have the choice to kill her three year old just because it would make her life easier.\u00a0 A dictator shouldn\u2019t have the choice to kill his citizens who start an uprising against him.\u00a0 A tribal warlord shouldn\u2019t have the choice to kill the neighboring tribe\u2019s women to get back at his rival.\u00a0 Gangs in inner cities shouldn\u2019t have the choice to gun down innocent citizens just because they think it\u2019s a fun past time.\u00a0 And no mother should have the choice to kill her unborn child because of her inconvenient or difficult circumstances.\u00a0 She shouldn\u2019t have the choice to kill her child because he was conceived in rape or incest.\u00a0 No child should pay the penalty for his father\u2019s crimes.<\/p>\n<p>I confess to you that I\u2019m not a co-dependent, needy helper.\u00a0 I\u2019m not trying to manipulate women.\u00a0 Trust me\u2026I have nothing to gain from spending my time, money, and effort trying to convince moms to love their children.\u00a0 Well, I have nothing to gain except for more love in my own heart for more people.\u00a0 But really, the children AND moms are the ones gaining.\u00a0 Not me.\u00a0 I don\u2019t want anything other than every single person on earth to have the chance to live.<\/p>\n<p>I confess to you that I\u2019m not donating my money to project my personal religious views on you.\u00a0 Even though I\u2019m a Christian, I think you can (and should) be pro-life whether you\u2019re a Christian or not.\u00a0 Fighting to save every innocent life is the decent thing to do.\u00a0 While I love Jesus and go to church, I\u2019d be pro-life even if I didn\u2019t.\u00a0 For me, letting babies live isn\u2019t just about religion.\u00a0 It has a lot to do with accurate science, moral decency, human dignity, equal justice, civil rights, and common sense.<\/p>\n<p>I confess to you that I do indeed want everyone on earth to share my views.\u00a0 That\u2019s why I volunteer on this issue.\u00a0 It\u2019s why I spend my time and money on it.\u00a0 Don\u2019t you think a world where every single person was welcomed and loved would be a wonderful place to be?\u00a0 Don\u2019t you think less killing would promote peace?\u00a0 And doesn\u2019t it start at the very beginning\u2026when each person is making their
