A national abortion organization is pouncing on Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz after Cruz commented at CNN’s Town Hall this week <\/a>that \u201cevery issue is a woman\u2019s issue.\u201d NARAL Pro-Choice America came out with guns blazing:<\/p>\n

Ted Cruz says on #GOPTownHall<\/a> “every issue is a woman’s issue.” So why doesn’t he support #reprofreedom<\/a> for all so we succeed economically?<\/p>\n

Having an abortion doesn’t guarantee any woman economic success. As current workers pregnant women are protected under federal laws. As future workers, they are free to place their babies with adoptive families\u00a0and continue their educations or careers.<\/p>\n

Abortion will never be the either\/or fallacy its advocates claim it to be. There is another choice: Since life has begun, then the choice should be between being ready to raise her child or placing her child with another loving family who can. It is not necessary to kill a living person in order to guarantee economic success. Likewise, NARAL seems to be ignorant of the fact that a woman can have children and be successful in school or on the job.<\/p>\n
