\"cecilePlanned Parenthood president and CEO Cecile Richards is a “real-life superhero” according to<\/a> President Barack Obama.<\/p>\n

He made the compliment during a Women’s History Month reception at the White House on Wednesday, at which Richards was a guest. Richards was the first of the women Obama singled out for praise, for “making sure women\u2019s health care is on the front burner.”<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s long past time for our leaders to reflect the majority of the population,” the president continued. “Wouldn\u2019t it be better for America if women weren\u2019t discouraged from seeking office because of double standards, and we had more women in positions of power and high office?”<\/p>\n

Obama has lavished praise on the abortion giant throughout his presidency, going so far<\/a> as to tell the group “God bless you” during its 2013 Gala. Planned Parenthood has also donated<\/a> $133,763 to Obama over the course of his career.<\/p>\n

Richards has been in the news in recent months for her organization’s ongoing scandal regarding the illegal sale of organs from aborted children.
