At the other end of the tube is a machine that generates suction. This suction rips apart the baby and pulls the torn apart body parts down the tube into a jar, which is often \u00a0fitted with a stocking type material.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-89437\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Suction-D-C-6-panel-700x393.png\" alt=\"Suction D &amp; C 6 panel\" width=\"474\" height=\"266\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Suction-D-C-6-panel-700x393.png 700w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Suction-D-C-6-panel-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Suction-D-C-6-panel-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Suction-D-C-6-panel.png 1918w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 474px) 100vw, 474px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When Dr. Brewer was in training, he was asked to watch an abortion of this type.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">I can remember that day watching the first abortion with the resident doctor sitting down and putting the tube in and removing the contents, and I saw the bloody material coming down the plastic tube and it went into a big jar. The first one. I\u2019d never seen one before. I didn\u2019t know what to expect. Well, it was my job afterwards to go undo the jar and see what was inside. It was kind of neat, learning about a new experience\u2026. I didn\u2019t have any views on abortion; I was in a training program; this was a brand-new experience. I was going to get to see a new procedure and learn, and that was exciting. And it got more exciting as I opened the jar and took the little piece of stockinette and opened that little bag, and the resident doctor said, now put it on that blue towel and check it out. We want to make sure that we got it all. I thought, oh, that will be exciting hands-on experience, looking at tissue.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>But Dr. Brewer was in for a rude shock when he examined the &#8217;tissue&#8217;:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">And I opened the sock up and I put it on the towel and there were parts in there of a person. I\u2019d taken anatomy; I was a medical student; I knew what I was looking at. There was a little scapula and an arm and I saw some ribs and a chest, and I saw a little tiny head, and I saw a piece of a leg, and I saw a tiny hand, and I saw an arm. You know, it was like somebody put a hot poker into me\u2026 I checked it out and there were two arms and two legs and one head, etc., and I turned and said, I guess you got it all.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Dr. Brewer was deeply troubled by seeing the body parts, but each time he saw another abortion, it was easier to look at. Eventually, he started performing abortions himself. \u00a0After his residency, he worked on a military base.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2026when I went into the military, I used to take pride in the fact that if a woman came to me and she was pregnant and wanted the baby, I could take care of her. I had a fine training in OB\/GYN. And, if a woman came to me and she did not want the baby, I took pride in the fact that I could take care of her as well by doing an abortion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">So, I was doing abortions in the military and we\u2019d line them up. It was sort of like private practice, and we did a good number of abortions.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>For a long time, Dr. Brewer didn\u2019t think about the similarities between the babies he aborted and the babies he provided prenatal care to and then helped deliver. Whether it was his job to take care of a baby and nurture it to birth or to destroy a baby depended on the mother\u2019s wishes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.abortionprocedures.com\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-88619 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/levatino-ad-LAN.jpg\" alt=\"levatino-ad-LAN\" width=\"306\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/levatino-ad-LAN.jpg 306w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/levatino-ad-LAN-300x221.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 306px) 100vw, 306px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was not until Dr. Brewer started going to church that he finally admitted to himself that life began at conception and he was killing human beings. He decided not to do abortions anymore. At first he wavered in his decision, but then he turned away a woman seeking an abortion and that was the end of his career as an abortionist.<\/p>\n<p>Brewer\u00a0reveals how the first abortion he saw hurt his conscience deeply, yet in time he was\u00a0performing them every day without a second thought. He explains how each abortion became\u00a0easier than one before, until his heart was completely cold towards the preborn babies he was ripping apart. In describing how his heart became so calloused, Brewer tells the story of his time as a teenager when he worked as a gardener around the neighborhood:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">My dad had a lawn mower and I got a sickle and I had some trimmers, and went out and took care of people\u2019s yards and had a little lawn and garden service. I did pretty well financially that summer. But, you know, the first couple of weeks, my hands hurt and I got big blisters. I was using tools that my hands were used to, all day, every day. That was like my heart when I saw and did abortions. But then you know, after a few weeks, I got calluses on my hands and pretty soon they didn\u2019t look real good, but, boy, my hands could work all day and no blisters and no pain.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Calloused as he was, Dr. Brewer was still able to realize he was wrong and turn away from abortion. At the end of Dr. Levatino\u2019s video testimony, Levatino\u00a0tells the viewer that no matter what a person has done, no matter where they are in life, they can always change. It is never too late to turn from a path of destruction to a path of life. It is not too late to walk away from evil until you breathe your last breath.<\/p>\n<p>Doctor Brewer and Anthony Levatino and <a href=\"http:\/\/clinicquotes.com\/category\/former-abortionists-speak\/\" target=\"_blank\">many other former abortionists<\/a>\u00a0have made the decision to leave behind their careers killing children and instead work to save lives.
