{"id":88127,"date":"2016-02-17T17:11:58","date_gmt":"2016-02-17T22:11:58","guid":{"rendered":"\/news\/?p=88127"},"modified":"2016-02-17T17:53:29","modified_gmt":"2016-02-17T22:53:29","slug":"sonogram-of-twins-holding-hands-comforts-family","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/sonogram-of-twins-holding-hands-comforts-family\/","title":{"rendered":"Incredible sonogram image shows twin babies holding hands"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>From CNN comes a story about a brother and sister holding hands &#8211; but it&#8217;s where it happened that will truly tug on heartstrings.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->As <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/videos\/us\/2016\/02\/17\/unborn-twins-holding-hands-death-pkg.kwch\">a CNN video<\/a> and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kwch.com\/news\/local-news\/sonogram-shows-dying-twin-holding-hand-of-unborn-sister\/38033024\">KWCH-TV<\/a>, a local Kansas affiliate, reported, Ian and Brittani Hutchinson were surprised to learn that\u00a0they were pregnant again after they already had two girls, but that Brittani was carrying twins.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/cdnapi.kaltura.com\/p\/557781\/sp\/55778100\/embedIframeJs\/uiconf_id\/14281372\/partner_id\/557781?iframeembed=true&amp;playerId=kaltura_dynamic_player_1_8q27zbun&amp;entry_id=1_8q27zbun&amp;flashvars[streamerType]=auto\" width=\"560\" height=\"395\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, doctors appointments brought on bad news. The baby boy, Mason, has a hole in heart, which doctors would not fix\u00a0since he also has a problem with his brain. While his twin sister, Madilyn, is over\u00a0two pounds, Mason is only nine ounces.<\/p>\n<p>As the diagnoses got worse,\u00a0the Hutchinson\u00a0family\u00a0began to prepare themselves to never meet Mason alive out of the womb. But at Brittani&#8217;s ultrasound on Tuesday, something inspiring happened.<\/p>\n<p>Mason was holding onto Madilyn&#8217;s finger with his hand.\u00a0Because of their size difference, the viewer can clearly see whose hand is whose.<\/p>\n<p>Brittani was comforted by the sonogram, saying of babies Madilyn and Mason, &#8220;She&#8217;s the only one who can actually be there and holding onto him
