Once known primarily as pundit that, while not everyone\u2019s cup of tea, was a pro-life stalwart who devoted<\/a> much<\/a> of<\/a> her<\/a> writing<\/a> to defending the preborn, Ann Coulter has irked pro-lifers in recent years with a handful of statements, from her criticism<\/a> of Ebola missionary Dr. Kent Brantly (which I interpreted differently than some of my colleagues<\/a>) to her tweet<\/a> that \u201cI don’t care if @realDonaldTrump wants to perform abortions in White House after this immigration policy paper\u201d (which was a horrendously-phrased expression of her argument<\/a> that immigration policy ultimately affects pro-lifers\u2019 chances anyway).<\/p>\n

But for my money, the biggest disservice she\u2019s done for our cause came this past weekend, where she had a\u2026 different\u2026 reaction to Chris Christie\u2019s horrendous advocacy<\/a> of rape-case abortions as \u201cself-defense\u201d than most pro-lifers:<\/p>\n
