Donald Trump insists that he is pro-life. However, like many in the pro-life movement<\/a>, I am skeptical of both Trump\u2019s understanding of and commitment to the pro-life cause. Here are 7 questions I would like to ask the GOP candidate to clear up all the confusion:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

1) While discussing ISIS, you argued<\/a> that America must \u201ctake out their families.\u201d How is the deliberate assassination of children compatible with the high regard for human life which is the hallmark of the pro-life movement?<\/p>\n

2) In a 2015 interview, you were asked if abortion was murder. You replied<\/a>, \u201cIt depends when, it depends when.\u201d In your opinion, at what point in a pregnancy does the human fetus acquire human rights?<\/p>\n

3) In the past, you have bragged about<\/a> your affairs with married women and made derogatory comments<\/a> towards women which are, frankly, unfit to repeat<\/a>. How is this attitude compatible with the pro-life concern for the dignity and well-being of women?<\/p>\n

4) You recently stated<\/a> that your sister, who argued against the partial-birth abortion ban, would make \u201cone of the best\u201d Supreme Court justices. Did you mean that?<\/p>\n

5) Since your conversion to the pro-life cause, how much money have you donated to abortion supporting candidates?<\/p>\n

6) You explained<\/a> that you became pro-life after a couple you knew decided not to abort, and \u201cthe baby turned out to be a superstar.\u201d On the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, you lamented<\/a> the loss of the children who \u201cnever had the chance to enrich the culture of this nation.\u201d Do you consider the abortion of a future \u201csuperstar\u201d who will \u201cenrich the culture\u201d to be as tragic and unjust as the abortion of a child with Down syndrome?<\/p>\n

7) While you expressed disgust over the grisly Planned Parenthood videos<\/a>, you asserted<\/a> that abortion is \u201cactually a fairly small part of what they do.\u201d You stated, \u201cI\u2019m sure they do some things \u2026 that are good for women,\u201d and, \u201cWe have to look at the positive also.\u201d If Planned Parenthood was caught on video slicing up toddlers and selling their pieces, would you still insist that we \u201clook at the positive\u201d?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
