And to top it off, she and other abortion supporters are\u00a0calling for GOP candidates to be indicted\u00a0for\u00a0committing no crimes at all.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->\u00a0The Daily Caller <a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2016\/01\/28\/planned-parenthood-backers-indict-carly-fiorina\/\">reports<\/a>\u00a0that Marcy Stech, the\u00a0communications director\u00a0for EMILY\u2019s List (&#8220;a political action committee devoted entirely to getting female pro-choice Democrats\u00a0elected&#8221;) thinks that David Daleiden of the Center for Medical Progress was indicted by a Texas grand jury for &#8220;manipulating info about Planned Parenthood.&#8221; <em>What?<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Punishment for manipulating info about Planned Parenthood is indictment. What about for the GOP candidates continuing this false narrative?<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Marcy Stech (@etchaStech) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/etchaStech\/status\/692026276391964672\">January 26, 2016<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>Unfortunately for Stech, some Twitter users had to straighten her out (screenshot below), informing her that the charges <a href=\"\/news\/breaking-harris-county-grand-jury-indicts-center-medical-progress-investigators\/\">had nothing to do with<\/a> the content of the videos filmed by CMP &#8211; which, in case readers have forgotten, were analyzed by Fusion GPS as well as Coalfire Systems and <a href=\"\/news\/forensic-analysis-finds-full-planned-parenthood-videos-authentic\/\">found free of audio or video manipulation<\/a>, despite Planned Parenthood&#8217;s claims to the contrary:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-86541\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/stech-tweet-screenshot.jpg\" alt=\"stech-tweet-screenshot\" width=\"637\" height=\"598\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/stech-tweet-screenshot.jpg 637w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/stech-tweet-screenshot-300x282.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 637px) 100vw, 637px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>False narratives? Yes, they do spread quickly.\u00a0Bob Krause, the Democratic Senate candidate in Iowa, jumped aboard the false narrative train with this tweet:<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Wonder if it&#39;s possible to indict <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/CarlyFiorina?src=hash\">#CarlyFiorina<\/a> for fraudulating a fraudulated video that used fraudulent govt documents? <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/IaCaucus?src=hash\">#IaCaucus<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/PP?src=hash\">#PP<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Bob Krause (@KrauseForIowa) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KrauseForIowa\/status\/691994235692711936\">January 26, 2016<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>And then\u00a0someone with a Ph.D. after his name, self-described as\u00a0a &#8220;scholar and writer,&#8221; decided that, despite any crimes being committed by GOP candidates, they should be indicted for&#8230; I&#8217;m not sure what, exactly. Perhaps simply for agreeing that what&#8217;s in those undercover Planned Parenthood\u00a0videos\u00a0is\u00a0extremely disturbing:<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Indict their co-conspirator <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/CarlyFiorina?src=hash\">#CarlyFiorina<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/GOP?src=hash\">#GOP<\/a>.  2 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Abortion?src=hash\">#Abortion<\/a> Foes Behind <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/PlannedParenthood?src=hash\">#PlannedParenthood<\/a> Videos Are Indicted <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/doaJmj5CaD\">https:\/\/t.co\/doaJmj5CaD<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Dr. David Romei (@DavidRomeiPHD) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DavidRomeiPHD\/status\/691753691213402114\">January 25, 2016<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>In a tweet of his own, Huffington Post writer Warren Holstein wished death upon GOP candidate Carly Fiorina (imagine the uproar if someone from a pro-life\u00a0publication had made this violent comment about a pro-abortion\u00a0candidate) &#8211; but when you call yourself a &#8220;comedian,&#8221; it must be\u00a0okay to joke about executing\u00a0those with whom you disagree:<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Activists who shot Planned Parenthood videos indicted for tampering with records and buying organs. Can we burn Carly Fiorina at the stake?<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Warren Holstein (@WarrenHolstein) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WarrenHolstein\/status\/691758559659479041\">January 25, 2016<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>As the Daily Caller notes while sharing various other anti-GOP, anti-Fiorina tweets, &#8220;It\u2019s unclear\u00a0how exactly those calling for Fiorina\u2019s indictment think she has broken\u00a0the law,\u00a0but that hasn\u2019t stopped them from demanding her indictment enthusiastically.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t surprising, as those calling for Fiorina&#8217;s\u00a0indictment don&#8217;t even have the facts correct regarding\u00a0the actual indictment of David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt. Nor do they note the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2016\/01\/28\/d-a-who-indicted-david-daleiden-received-over-25000-from-attorney-for-late-term-abortionist\/\">other<\/a>\u00a0issues and <a href=\"\/news\/planned-parenthood-must-be-prosecuted-not-the-journalist-who-exposed-them\/\">apparent conflicts of interest<\/a> surrounding Daleiden&#8217;s and Merritt&#8217;s\u00a0indictment.<\/p>\n<p>Thus far, Fiorina&#8217;s response to this misinformation and desire\u00a0to squelch the First Amendment rights of GOP candidates has been to say that the indictment of Center for Medical Progress investigators &#8220;doesn\u2019t change the facts.&#8221; After all, she says, &#8220;Hillary Clinton hasn\u2019t been indicted either so what does that say about our justice system?&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s a sad day for facts in America when even the communications director of a major pro-abortion organization\u00a0has no clue\u00a0about what&#8217;s really going on in the news.
