In a recent interview with The Insider, singer\/actress Toni Braxton talked briefly about a past\u00a0abortion, telling them it\u00a0made her sad and she had to forgive herself for having it.<\/p>\n

The seven-time Grammy winner was speaking<\/a> with The Insider about the Lifetime movie she produced about her own life, \u201cToni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart,\u201d when she was asked about the biggest thing she had to forgive herself for:\u00a0<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

I had to forgive myself for the abortion. Here it is years later and I had to forgive myself for that moment. And, it stunned me and it almost corrupt my energy and made it – I’m not going to say less positive- it just made it sad way too long.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The abortion lobby likes to try and convince their constituents that women do not regret abortion. Sadly, sometimes the longer women buy into this lie, the longer their pain lingers. Women who have had abortions and are now pro-life have stated<\/a>\u00a0that as Braxton admits, there is a pain associated with the loss of a child through abortion.<\/p>\n

Tragically, in her memoir, Braxton implies that she had the abortion in part because the pregnancy was inconvenient.<\/p>\n

\"BraxtonAs previously reported<\/a> by\u00a0Live Action News, Braxton suffered from great guilt after her abortion, and years later when her son was diagnosed with autism, her guilt intensified.<\/p>\n
