Pro-lifers in Michigan have uncovered a long rap sheet of offenses – including charges of assault and domestic violence – for a\u00a0Grand Rapids\u00a0abortionist whose National Abortion Federation (NAF)\u00a0facility\u00a0describes him as having “professionalism, integrity, and superior skills.”<\/p>\n

\"Thomas<\/p>\n

Thomas James Gordon<\/a> performs abortions at the Heritage Clinic for Women in Grand Rapids, according to pro-life activist Leisa Speheger Snow, who regularly sidewalk counsels outside the facility.\u00a0Snow noticed that Gordon had not been seen at the\u00a0abortion center\u00a0for several days, and with the help of pro-life investigator Lynn Mills,\u00a0located Gordon’s\u00a0arrest information at the Kent County Sheriff website.<\/p>\n

\"ABortionist<\/p>\n

According to Kent County booking number 1600779<\/a>, Gordon spent 4 days in jail after his arrest on January 13, 2016. Records indicate that Gordon was charged with “disorderly person\/fighting jostling.”<\/p>\n

A search on the Michigan Department of Corrections website reveals that Gordon was also arrested in 2011. In that incident, his\u00a0offenses<\/a> included domestic violence as well as “Weapons – Firearms – Possession Under the Influence.”<\/p>\n

Records on file with Michigan’s Internet Criminal History Online website (provided to Live Action News by local grand rapids pro-lifers) show that Gordon may have other arrests. The document shows a Thomas James Gordon with same arrest record as located on the Michigan Department of Corrections website with a long rap sheet of criminal history.<\/p>\n

In addition, it shows misdemeanor aggravated assault charges dating back to 1991. More recently, in 2015, charges against Gordon listed on that state document include misdemeanor domestic violence and misdemeanor operating while intoxicated.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, the Heritage Clinic for Women, which is a member of the National Abortion Federation, described Gordon this way on their website:<\/p>\n
