Eric Yahav (via Operation Rescue)<\/p><\/div>\n

The live-in girlfriend of Pennsylvania abortionist Eric Yahav has\u00a0filed an order of protection<\/a> against him for abusing her and attempting to force her to abort their child. Yahav is known for having been involved in an illegal abortion business – with abortionist Steven Chase Brigham – which was shut down in 2013.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Operation Rescue reports<\/a> that the woman, “Mary” (whose real name has been withheld for privacy), took video<\/a> of some of the incidents before Yahav was able to turn off her cell phone. She also stated in her petition for a protective order against Yahav:<\/p>\n

\n

Since becoming pregnant, Eric Yahav has become physically and mentally abusive because he does not want me to continue pregnancy. He works as an abortionist and over 6 weeks made 4 appointments for me to have an abortion. Each time when I refused to go he became violent and threatened to kick me and my son out of the house. He threatened if I did not have an abortion he would \u201cmake my life hell\u201d and I could watch and see what he did to me.<\/p>\n

I refused and he attacked me several times. He pushed me down the stairs and attempted to drag me out of the house. He slapped and kicked me. I dialed 911 and he grabbed my phone.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Mary stated that Yahav, in attempting to force her to abort, enlisted the help of his abortion workers to coerce his girlfriend into aborting their child by lying to her about the gestational age of their baby. Operation Rescue states<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Mary told Operation Rescue that she was sure she was 15 weeks, 5 days pregnant, and only got into the car because she knew the clinic was only legally permitted to do abortions to 14 weeks, 6 days.<\/p>\n

Mary was sure the clinic staff would refuse to allow the abortion if she was beyond the legal limit so she asked for an ultrasound exam, but started to worry when the technician would not let her see the screen. Mary was told that she was only 13 weeks pregnant.<\/p>\n

\u201cI told her that was not possible. . .I asked again to see [the ultrasound] and she refused and I asked to leave. Things got bad in the car and at home,\u201d Mary said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

At a later date, when Yahav again tried to make an abortion appointment for Mary, she told\u00a0an abortion facility\u00a0staff member that Yahav had “put her in an unsafe position,” in the hopes that the staff would protect her. Instead, she says, the staff member\u00a0laughed at her.<\/p>\n

Mary also says that Yahav\u00a0“pushed her down stairs when she refused an abortion, slapped and kicked her, choked her, and threw a cereal bowl at her head” and has been abusive to her 8-year-old son from a previous marriage to the point that the boy “was in tears and hyperventilating.” Operation Rescue’s report has further details<\/a> on the treatment that Mary and her son received from Yahav.<\/p>\n

In December, Mary\u00a0emailed\u00a0Operation Rescue, begging for their help. \u201cI feel like no one will help me,” she wrote. “He has all the money, power, and status . . . This man is making a lot of money performing abortions. How can he be trusted to protect a woman who feels forced into abortion when he didn\u2019t respect me, pregnant with his baby, enough not to hurt me.\u00a0I have lost everything because of him.\u201d<\/p>\n
