Motivated by a strong pro-abortion ideology, they may have every intention of entering the diminishing ranks of abortionists.<\/p>\n<p>However, some of these students become\u00a0so uncomfortable with the gruesome nature of abortion procedures they change their career plans. Others do become abortionists, but retain some moral qualms about what they are doing. She thought that women carrying disabled or sick babies should have the right to abort. But she wouldn&#8217;t do the abortions herself:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">I knew I wouldn\u2019t. I just didn\u2019t want to. I just did not enjoy pulling the fetus out\u2026 When someone did decide to go through with the abortion, I always respected that, like you\u2019re saying, \u201cStop now and don\u2019t cause this child any pain\u201d\u2026 That part actually wasn\u2019t the problem for me, it wasn\u2019t the choice. It was more just the sadness that the mother would, you know, that the child couldn\u2019t have a chance\u2026 And personally, I just didn\u2019t want \u2013 I just felt like I\u2019d done enough. I just did not want to do them anymore.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While she is still pro-abortion, she is aware that abortion destroys a &#8220;child.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-82895\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/de-1.jpg\" alt=\"de\" width=\"653\" height=\"475\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/de-1.jpg 653w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/de-1-300x218.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 653px) 100vw, 653px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Another doctor, looking back on his abortion training, explained why learning late term D&amp;E abortions was so hard for him:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">I think when we did the second trimesters and learned D&amp;Es and such, that\u2019s always harder\u2026 In the same [time period] you\u2019re doing rotations in [ premature obstetrics] where you\u2019re\u2026 giving meds to these babies and trying to save them\u2026<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The contrast between the valuable &#8220;wanted&#8221; babies and the disposable &#8220;unwanted&#8221; babies is vividly shown when doctors fight to save infants who are the same age as the infants they kill in another part of the hospital. The only difference between a baby doctors are struggling to save and a baby doctors are trying to kill is the opinion of the baby&#8217;s mother. If she believes her child&#8217;s life is valuable, it is. If she doesn&#8217;t, and wants her baby dead, the baby&#8217;s life is expendable and he can be legally killed. This s<a href=\"\/news\/two-preborn-babies-two-different-attitudes\/\" target=\"_blank\">trange situation<\/a> leads to moral <a href=\"http:\/\/clinicquotes.com\/it-makes-a-schizophrenic-says-abortion-doctor\/\" target=\"_blank\">confusion<\/a>. Abortionists have <a href=\"http:\/\/clinicquotes.com\/we-are-the-executioners-says-abortionist\/\" target=\"_blank\">spoken about the\u00a0<\/a>irony of the situation elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>When a woman&#8217;s baby dies but is not passed, she may have to have the baby removed in a procedure like a D&amp;E. One abortionist describes the emotional difference between aborting a living baby and completing\u00a0a miscarriage, where\u00a0the baby he is pulling apart is already dead.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">If it\u2019s [a miscarriage], you\u2019re like [with a pained voice], \u201cOh, here\u2019s this little life!\u201d And you know that it was meant to be because, that\u2019s what happened. And if it\u2019s an abortion, you just feel sad that the woman wasn\u2019t able to raise the child.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Note that this doctor calls the preborn baby a &#8220;child&#8221; and a &#8220;life.&#8221; Even though he does abortions, he is aware that abortion is killing children.
