When it comes to the abortion giant &#8211; who receives <a href=\"\/news\/planned-parenthood-receives-1-5-million-a-day-in-taxpayer-funding\/\">$1.5 million\u00a0<em>per day<\/em><\/a> of our own hard-earned money &#8211; we can&#8217;t afford to turn a blind eye.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>1) Planned Parenthood wants abortions to be &#8220;plentiful.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/news\/texas-abortionist-uses-debunked-argument-to-claim-women-at-risk-from-abortion-restrictions\/abortion-rally-1970s\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-83061\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-83061\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/abortion-rally-1970s-700x431.jpg\" alt=\"abortion-rally-1970s\" width=\"474\" height=\"292\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/abortion-rally-1970s-700x431.jpg 700w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/abortion-rally-1970s-300x185.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/abortion-rally-1970s-768x473.jpg 768w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/abortion-rally-1970s.jpg 2020w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 474px) 100vw, 474px\" \/><\/a>No doubt you&#8217;ve heard the &#8220;safe, legal, and rare&#8221; slogan that pro-choice leaders often throw around. Well, Planned Parenthood dispelled that myth through a tweet it sent out just this month:<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Imagine &quot;life in a magical land where abortions and birth control are free and plentiful&quot; This place exists. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/zdEYnLF0oT\">https:\/\/t.co\/zdEYnLF0oT<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Planned Parenthood (@PPact) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PPact\/status\/676091765913464832\">December 13, 2015<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>Planned Parenthood &#8211; the organization that <a href=\"\/news\/planned-parenthood-really-40-percent-national-abortion-market\/\">performs a third of abortions in the U.S.<\/a> &#8211; would actually love abortion to be &#8220;plentiful.&#8221; This is way out of whack with <a href=\"\/news\/breaking-55-percent-americans-want-abortions-made-illegal\/\">most Americans&#8217; feelings<\/a> on the matter. Even many pro-choice Americans believe abortion should be rare, not &#8220;plentiful.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Not so Planned Parenthood. Her mother <a href=\"\/news\/mom-posts-amazing-photos-of-her-7-and-8-week-old-miscarried-babies-on-facebook\/\">shared her beautiful story and photos here<\/a>, illustrating the absolute humanity of all preborn children.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>In a shocking admission, Dr. Savita Ginde &#8211; abortionist and Vice President and Medical Director of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains &#8211; <a href=\"\/news\/planned-parenthood-admits-on-tape-its-a-baby\/\">said on tape<\/a>, &#8220;It&#8217;s a baby.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Who was she speaking of? A picked apart little human baby who had just been aborted (probably by her) at her clinic. In the same discussion, <a href=\"\/news\/10-disturbing-quotes-from-a-top-planned-parenthood-abortionist\/\">Ginde explained<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8220;Here\u2019s the heart. My fingers will smoosh it if I try to pick it up. The heart is right there\u2026 A lot of times I\u2018ll get a full torso, spine, kidneys. You could send the whole thing or pick that apart\u2026 It\u2019s a baby.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GWQuZMvcFA8\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>3) Planned Parenthood actually <em>does<\/em> abort babies who could survive outside the womb.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_63027\" style=\"width: 484px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"\/news\/pro-abortion-columnist-arguments-20-week-abortion-ban-fall-flat\/nilsson_rm_photo_of_20_week_fetus-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-63027\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-63027\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-63027\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/nilsson_rm_photo_of_20_week_fetus1-700x500.jpg\" alt=\"Famous Nilsson photo of a preborn baby at 20 weeks\" width=\"474\" height=\"339\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-63027\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Famous Nilsson photo of a preborn baby at 20 weeks<\/p><\/div>\n<p>During her testimony to Congress, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards told a big, ugly lie (despite her oath to tell the truth and all that jazz). She claimed that PP does not perform abortions of viable babies. Her <a href=\"\/news\/fact-check-planned-parenthood-actually-does-perform-abortions-after-viability\/\">exact words<\/a> were: &#8220;We don\u2019t provide abortions after, um, viability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Live Action News investigated Planned Parenthood&#8217;s own clinic websites, finding that at least six PP clinics throughout the nation do in fact provide abortions after viability. These clinics (screenshots <a href=\"\/news\/fact-check-planned-parenthood-actually-does-perform-abortions-after-viability\/\">here<\/a>), perform abortions at 22 weeks, 6 days; 23 weeks, 6 days; and 24 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Viability is the point in time where babies could survive outside the womb. According to a <a href=\"\/news\/fact-check-planned-parenthood-actually-does-perform-abortions-after-viability\/\">fact-check article<\/a> on Richards&#8217; statement:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">[F]etal respiratory capacity <em>has<\/em> been enhanced in our modern day. A great number of babies can now survive at 22 weeks gestation. (The earliest recorded babies to survive were born at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalrighttolifenews.org\/news\/2013\/04\/one-of-youngest-ever-surviving-preemies-goes-home\/#.Vg7llHtqHaY\">21 weeks 6 days<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/twin-babies-born-a-week-before-the-uk-abortion-cutoff-celebrate-first-birth\">21 weeks 5 days<\/a>.) The Washington Post remarkably <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/blogs\/fact-checker\/wp\/2015\/05\/26\/setting-the-record-straight-on-measuring-fetal-age-and-the-20-week-abortion\/\">even reported<\/a>: \u201cThat babies can survive at 22 weeks is not a new finding; it has been known for 15 years. \u2026 New research confirmed that 22-week fetuses, measured from the first day of the pregnant woman\u2019s last menstrual cycle, can survive.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>You can <a href=\"\/news\/fact-check-planned-parenthood-actually-does-perform-abortions-after-viability\/\">read more here<\/a> to find out exactly how Richards lied to the American public and to Congress.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4) <\/strong><strong>Planned Parenthood has been harvesting baby body parts and organs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/news\/dont-let-planned-parenthood-derail-the-conversation-about-trafficked-fetal-body-parts\/nucatola\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-66833\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-66833\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/nucatola.jpg\" alt=\"nucatola\" width=\"672\" height=\"372\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/nucatola.jpg 672w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/nucatola-300x166.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 672px) 100vw, 672px\" \/><\/a>2015 brought one of the strongest modern indictments against PP and the abortion industry:\u00a0 the undercover work of The Center for Medical Progress. CMP&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/\">string of stunning videos<\/a> showed PP executive after PP executive haggling, negotiating, and laughing over the body parts of aborted babies. (Here&#8217;s <a href=\"\/news\/a-guide-to-how-planned-parenthood-is-breaking-the-law\/\">a guide<\/a> to how PP is shown breaking the law in these tapes.)<\/p>\n<p>A few choice quotes:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201cWe\u2019ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I\u2019m not gonna crush that part, I\u2019m gonna basically crush below, I\u2019m gonna crush above, and I\u2019m gonna see if I can get it all intact.\u201d &#8211; <a href=\"\/news\/breaking-planned-parenthood-director-caught-on-tape-selling-aborted-baby-parts\/\">Deborah Nucatola<\/a>, Planned Parenthood Federation Senior Director of Medical Services<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201cBecause some of our doctors in the past have projects and they\u2019re collecting the specimens, so they do it [deliver the fetus intact] in a way that they get the best specimens, so I know it can happen.&#8221; &#8211; <a href=\"\/news\/you-wont-believe-planned-parenthoods-devious-response-to-latest-video\/\">Melissa Farrell<\/a>, Director of Research, Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201cWe\u2019re doing procedures at 17\u00a0weeks, so we have fairly large identifiable parts. \u2026 And we\u2019re planning on going to from 18 to 20\u00a0weeks by the end of the year.\u201d &#8211; <a href=\"\/news\/10-disturbing-quotes-from-a-top-planned-parenthood-abortionist\/\">Dr. Savita GInde<\/a>, Vice President and Medical Director, Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>After attempting to negotiate the price of baby parts, President of the Planned Parenthood Medical Directors\u2019 Council, Dr. Mary Gatter infamously<a href=\"\/news\/breaking-second-video-shows-planned-parenthood-negotiating-payment-baby-parts\/\"> explained<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8220;I want a Lamborghini.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>5) Planned Parenthood lies. And lies. And lies and lies and lies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/news\/planned-parenthood-ceo-falsely-told-congress-they-never-claimed-to-provide-mammograms\/cecile-richards-congress\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-75847\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-75847\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/cecile-richards-congress.jpg\" alt=\"cecile-richards-congress\" width=\"672\" height=\"372\" \/><\/a>In <a href=\"\/news\/fact-check-how-cecile-richards-is-lying-to-the-american-people\/\">a single TV interview<\/a>, Cecile Richards faced off with the American people, and told at least <a href=\"\/news\/fact-check-how-cecile-richards-is-lying-to-the-american-people\/\">eleven identifiable lies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the descriptions of baby parts and organs on the <a href=\"\/news\/forensic-analysis-finds-full-planned-parenthood-videos-authentic\/\">fully credible<\/a> CMP <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/centerformedprogress\">tapes<\/a> reveal PP&#8217;s extensive knowledge on fetal development. As Live Action News&#8217; Cassy Fiano <a href=\"\/news\/planned-parenthood-harvests-body-parts-babies-lying-women-fetal-development\/#more-68251\">explained<\/a>, &#8220;This video in particular makes it overwhelmingly clear that Planned Parenthood knows the facts of fetal development, and yet, lies to women.&#8221; Fiano continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"\/news\/shoddy-science-why-america-doesnt-need-planned-parenthood\/\">Shoddy science is not uncommon for Planned Parenthood<\/a>, where staffers work hard to make sure that women remain in the dark about the growth of their preborn babies. For example, a baby\u2019s heart <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ehd.org\/\">starts beating<\/a> just three weeks after conception, brain waves can be measured around six weeks, and by nine weeks, the baby can suck her thumb.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_67680\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-67680\" src=\"\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Screen-Shot-2015-07-22-at-3.54.35-PM-300x235.png\" alt=\"Not just &quot;pregnancy tissue.&quot;\" width=\"300\" height=\"235\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Screen-Shot-2015-07-22-at-3.54.35-PM-300x235.png 300w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Screen-Shot-2015-07-22-at-3.54.35-PM.png 497w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Not just \u201cpregnancy tissue.\u201d<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Planned Parenthood works very hard to make sure that women don\u2019t know any of this \u2013 through outright lying and by <a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/rosaacuna\/\">giving women false information in order to manipulate them into having an abortion<\/a>. Women are told that a baby doesn\u2019t have a heartbeat until around 17 weeks of pregnancy, and that in the first trimester, nothing is developed:<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8220;There\u2019s not a baby at this point. You wouldn\u2019t be able to identify any parts of the fetus whatsoever. \u2026 [A]t this point there\u2019s nothing developed at all. There\u2019s no legs, no arms, no brain, no heart.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Live Action investigators have caught Planned Parenthood staffers <a href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/rosaacuna\/\">lying to women again and again about fetal development<\/a>.
