{"id":82894,"date":"2015-12-19T08:34:44","date_gmt":"2015-12-19T13:34:44","guid":{"rendered":"\/news\/?p=82894"},"modified":"2016-09-07T15:10:54","modified_gmt":"2016-09-07T19:10:54","slug":"man-becomes-pro-life-witnessing-late-term-abortion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/man-becomes-pro-life-witnessing-late-term-abortion\/","title":{"rendered":"Man becomes pro-life after witnessing late-term abortion"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>A man who witnessed a late-term abortion while working in a hospital became pro-life because of what he saw.\u00a0<a href=\"\/news\/pathologist-assistant-provides-photos-of-aborted-babies\/\" target=\"_blank\">As I said in another article<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/nation.time.com\/2013\/08\/23\/doctors-urge-more-hospitals-to-perform-abortions\/\" target=\"_blank\">4% of all abortions<\/a> are done in hospitals rather than in outpatient facilities.<\/p>\n<p>On January 12, 2013, I corresponded with\u00a0the man, who described the grisly abortion procedure he witnessed and assisted in. At his request, I am withholding his name.\u00a0He says&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">I remember very vividly passing instruments to a well known abortionist on the northeast side of Atlanta as he removed pieces of a then deceased child from its mother\u2019s womb. It was like a puzzle; the doc pieced the corpse together to be sure it was all there. He then delivered the placenta.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The procedure the man is describing is a D&amp;E, or Dilation and Evacuation. It is also called a dismemberment abortion. \u00a0In a D&amp;E\u00a0the abortionist uses forceps to reach in and tear off pieces of the child, dismembering him or her limb by limb. Here is a diagram\u00a0showing this abortion method.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-82895\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/de-1.jpg\" alt=\"de\" width=\"653\" height=\"475\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/de-1.jpg 653w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/de-1-300x218.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 653px) 100vw, 653px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Piecing the body of the aborted baby together after the abortion is part of the standard procedure. Any piece left behind can cause a dangerous infection for the woman. The abortionist has to carefully piece \u00a0together the baby parts, identifying each piece, counting two arms, two legs, etc.<\/p>\n<p>This is also done in earlier abortions. Former Planned Parenthood director Abby Johnson <a href=\"\/news\/clinic-workers-reassemble-babies-after-abortions\/\" target=\"_blank\">commented on it once:<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">When I worked at Planned Parenthood, I was trained to be a POC technician. POC stands for \u201cProducts of Conception.\u201d Sometimes, if the staff were feeling funny, we would say that it stood for \u201cPieces of Children.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Inside every abortion clinic across the country, someone is tasked to be the POC technician. Their job is to take everything suctioned out of the uterus during an abortion and reassemble the parts of the baby. We did this to ensure that the uterus was empty of all fetal parts. If something was left, it could create a potentially fatal infection for the woman.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Lacking staff, the abortionist who performed the late-term abortion pieced the baby together himself.<\/p>\n<p>Before\u00a0assisting in\u00a0the abortion, the man I spoke to had no idea how brutal and violent abortion really was.\u00a0After seeing what abortion is really like, he became pro-life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A man who witnessed a late-term abortion while working in a hospital became pro-life because of what he saw.\u00a0As I said in another article, 4% of all abortions are done in hospitals rather than in outpatient facilities.
