Does it bother our officials or lawmakers that abortion facilities\u00a0are performing abortions on young\u00a0victims of predatory sexual assault and returning them to their abusers without reporting it? It bothers me.<\/p>\n

I spent many years gathering evidence of this kind of abuse for a report<\/a> published by the Texas pro-life group Life Dynamics only a few years ago. The actual case summaries published in that report are stomach-turning, and the graphic details of children being abused and then returned to their rapists after receiving abortions are horrifying. Tragically, another case of\u00a0a pregnant teen taken for an abortion at a Planned Parenthood to cover the sexual abuse of a pedophile has been brought to light in court documents from October 2015.<\/p>\n

Grey David Woods met his victim in 2007. She was the 12 year-old daughter of a girlfriend he eventually moved in with when, according to the court document<\/a>, Woods began “touching” the child in a sexual manner. Woods continued his abuse and when the little girl told her mother, her pleas were ignored. Eventually, Woods began to have sexual intercourse daily with the victim – and sadly, her own mother, who was being physically abused by Woods, participated as well.\u00a0Woods\u00a0photographed these acts.<\/p>\n

In the fall of 2010, the now 15-year-old victim learned that she was pregnant. Woods and the victim’s mother told her to get an abortion. So, according to the document, in mid-January 2011, the mother drove the teen to a California Planned Parenthood facility to undergo an abortion procedure. The victim was in her second trimester, requiring a two-day procedure. To cover for her pedophile boyfriend, the victim’s mother told the staff at Planned Parenthood that an unnamed boy had gotten the teen pregnant. Apparently, that was all Planned Parenthood needed to hear, because, according to the document, they performed the procedure. The victim did not tell the truth about what had happened because she was concerned that she would get in trouble, and\/or that her mother would get in trouble. Less than two weeks after the victim had the abortion, Woods resumed having sex with her.<\/p>\n

After several more months of abuse, in January of 2012, the victim called the police on Woods because he became violent towards her and her mother. Tragically, she did not tell police about the sexual abuse for fear she would get taken away from her mother. Shortly after this incident, the victim went to Virginia to live with a friend. It wasn’t until the summer of 2012 when police were alerted to the sexual abuse, almost two years after the child’s abortion at Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n

On August 9, 2012, Woods’ new girlfriend (whom he had met online) contacted the sheriff’s department after she discovered that two computer memory sticks Woods gave to her to “destroy” possessed child pornography. After police executed a search warrant and seized Woods’ computer, a forensic examiner found “thousands” of pornographic pictures and videos depicting the teen. As a result, Woods, along with the victim’s mother, were arrested. The mother cooperated with police and pleaded guilty to committing lewd acts with a minor, felony child abuse, and felony accessory after the fact. A California jury convicted Woods on 16 counts of sexual abuse of his girlfriend’s underage daughter. Woods pleaded guilty to a 17th count of possession of child pornography. The trial court sentenced Woods to life in prison without the possibility of parole, plus an additional 53 years in prison – however, Woods appealed several of these counts, as seen in the court document.<\/p>\n

This is not the only case where a child was sexually assaulted, impregnated, and taken to either an abortion facility\u00a0or Planned Parenthood to abort the baby\u00a0and cover for the pedophile. An Arizona case<\/a> charging an 18-year-old man – Tyler Kost – with 27 counts of sexual assault and abuse revealed that a Planned Parenthood counselor told one of the alleged victims and her mother at an abortion consultation that it \u201cwasn\u2019t worth the hassle\u201d to report that the minor had been raped. After that, the perpetrator allegedly committed additional offenses against four other young females (image of police report below).<\/p>\n

In another case<\/a>, a kidnapping victim who was being kept as a sex slave was taken to a Planned Parenthood for\u00a0an abortion. At no time did the taxpayer-funded abortion giant report her possible abuse to authorities, so as a result she was returned back into the hands of her abusers.<\/p>\n

In addition to actual criminal cases<\/a>, Live Action has documented<\/a> the irresponsible way that Planned Parenthood covers for child sexual abusers. Several undercover investigations conducted by Live Action found eight Planned Parenthood clinics in five different states were willing to cover-up sexual abuse, disregarding mandatory suspected statutory rape reporting laws. Clinics also provided instructions on how to circumvent parental consent laws.<\/p>\n
