\"AnnaA Tennessee woman is jailed with a $200,000 bond for attempting to abort her 24-week-old preborn baby. The Murfreesboro resident, Anna Yocca, 31, tried to use a coat hanger to abort her child\u00a0in a bathtub in\u00a0September.\u00a0 A grand jury indicted her last week on attempted first-degree murder charges.<\/p>\n

Nashville’s News Channel 5 reports <\/a>that when Yocca started to bleed severely in her abortion attempt, she became worried about her own health. Her boyfriend then drove her to a hospital. She insisted she did not want her child, but the baby was born at 1.5 pounds, and now has injuries he will have for the rest of his life because of her actions. This includes damage to the heart, eyes, and lungs; he requires around-the-clock care.<\/p>\n

Police sergeant Kyle Evans said:<\/a><\/p>\n

She wanted to kill the child… The whole time she was concerned for her health, her safety and never gave any attention to the health and safety to the unborn child.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Even the news reporter said she attempted to kill her “unborn baby.”<\/p>\n
