\"IMG_2413\"“Pro-Life and Pro-Woman Go Hand in Hand.” That’s the message that the 2016 March for Life will emphasize. Every year since Roe v. Wade<\/em> and Doe v. Bolton,<\/em>\u00a0the March for Life has been in place. The organization says:<\/p>\n

In October 1973, months after the Roe and Doe<\/em> decisions, a group of thirty pro-life leaders gathered in Nellie\u2019s home in Washington, D.C. to discuss how to commemorate the one-year anniversary of Roe<\/em>. There was a fear that January 22 would pass as any other day rather than allow for a moment to reflect upon how legalized abortion had hurt women and taken babies\u2019 lives over the course of the year. That was the day that plans for the first March for Life began…. <\/strong>The peaceful demonstration that has followed on this somber anniversary every year since 1973 is a witness to the truth concerning the greatest human rights violation of our time, legalized abortion on demand.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And 2016 is no different. Pro-lifers from every part of the nation will gather on the 43 birthday of the legalization of abortion\u00a0on January 22.<\/p>\n

But the day before, the organization will gather for its annual March for Life Conference<\/a>. Participants will learn from a variety of sessions:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy the Pro-Life Movement Is the Authentic Women\u2019s Movement,\u201d\u00a0Sue Ellen Browder<\/p>\n

This panel will include three pro-life female leaders giving brief remarks and then delving into the tough questions related to being a woman and being pro-life in today\u2019s world.<\/p>\n

Capitol Hill 101,\u00a0an orientation designed to equip marchers to meet with their Members of Congress during their March for Life trip to advocate for the sanctity of life.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
