Abortion giant Planned Parenthood, which claims constantly that it needs taxpayer funding to do its “good” work, plans to spend $20 million to put its pro-abortion candidates in office in 2016.<\/p>\n

CNN reports<\/a> on Planned Parenthood’s goals for the\u00a02016 election…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The group is planning to focus on the White House and Senate races in a few key states, including New Hampshire, Ohio, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The states not only have potentially competitive Senate races, but are also key swing states on the presidential map.<\/p>\n

The $20 million will be spent on a mix of volunteer and activist organizing in each state and advertising.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In a video announcing their 2016 efforts, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards said:<\/p>\n

Extremists made the 2016 election about attacking reproductive rights. Enough is enough. With our supporters, we’re launching ‘I Vote Planned Parenthood Action.’ We’ll organize and mobilize to elect lawmakers who are in our corner.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n

Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood’s Dawn Laguens<\/span><\/span> sent an email Tuesday morning in which she details the organization’s determination to fight for abortion rights in the 2016 election. She writes:<\/p>\n

\n

Congress threatening access to the basic health care Planned Parenthood provides for millions. Potential cases on birth control and abortion access to be heard in front of the Supreme Court. Major fights for access to abortion and comprehensive reproductive health care in states like Texas, Ohio, and Louisiana.<\/p>\n

… there’s no question that reproductive health and rights are going to be BIG on the ballot next year \u2014 from statehouses to the White House.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That’s why we are launching I Vote Planned Parenthood Action<\/em> today \u2014 and as we gear up for our biggest election campaign in years, we want to know what’s most important to you and your community.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

However, it’s no wonder that the abortion provider will spend millions of dollars to get the right people in office since they themselves note that their abortion business is being threatened. Last week, Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards sent a letter to their email list discussing how the Texas abortion law, which will now be heard by the Supreme Court, could change abortion as people know it. Richards writes:<\/p>\n

… if we lose this case, its impact will be immediate and is likely to be far-reaching.<\/strong> Lawmakers in Kansas and other states will believe they have the Supreme Court’s blessing to pass even more dangerous laws, shutting down health centers and putting new restrictions on reproductive rights.<\/p>\n

In the end, a legal right to abortion isn’t worth much if it’s impossible to get one safely.<\/strong> That’s what the ideologues who push for laws like the one in Texas are counting on. Me? I’m counting on people like you to stand up and fight back.<\/p>\n

The politicians behind laws like this are hell-bent on destroying access to safe and legal abortion….Believe me, if they win this case and the Texas abortion law goes into effect, they’ll use every inch of that victory to make getting an abortion one of the hardest things a woman can do.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

If it’s impossible to get an abortion “safely,” it certainly isn’t the fault of pro-lifers, who have been fought every time<\/a> they introduce legislation to implement and enforce health and safety standards at abortion facilities. One thing Richards is right about, though, is that pro-lifers want abortions to end.<\/p>\n

However, no one at Planned Parenthood will admit the truth they even know: a baby dies every time an abortion happens. Now that right to death is so vital to the abortion profiteers, that instead of using $20 million to help poor women, they will use it to continue to buy the support of politicians who will allow them to remain largely unaccountable for their illegal actions.
