Throughout the years, many abortion industry\u00a0workers have left their jobs and told their stories. Their testimonies can be found\u00a0online, in books, in magazines, and in old newspaper archives. This particular testimony comes from way back in 1982.<\/p>\n

Why is it relevant today? Because it highlights the fact that dishonesty has been part of abortion practice\u00a0for decades…<\/p>\n

Norma Eidelman worked for short time in an abortion facility that provided second trimester abortions. These abortions were performed by saline induction, a method that is no longer used today. Saline induction was performed by injecting a caustic saline solution into the amniotic sac. The baby was\u00a0slowly poisoned, her skin and lungs burned by the solution. Sometimes it took hours for the baby to die, and the mother could feel the violent kicking of her child as it suffered\u00a0in her womb. After the baby died, labor would be induced\u00a0and\u00a0the mother would \u201cgive birth\u201d to the corpse of her child. At least, that is\u00a0what would happen if it all went smoothly.<\/p>\n

All too often, the saline solution failed to kill the child, and the abortionist was left with an inconvenient, living baby. Sadly, these babies were usually\u00a0killed by the abortionist outright or left to die of neglect. \u00a0However, a few survived. Gianna Jessen<\/a>\u00a0was one child who made it \u2013 she was aborted in the 7th<\/sup> month with\u00a0saline. When she was born alive, the abortionist wasn\u2019t there,<\/a> and a nurse called emergency services, who whisked the child away.\u00a0She survived with medical care, but has\u00a0cerebral palsy as a result of the abortion.<\/p>\n

But back to Norma Eidelman, who says:<\/p>\n

\n

They [the mothers] always wanted to know the sex, but we lied and said it was too early to tell. It was better for the women to think of the fetus as an \u201cit.\u201d They would scoop up the fetuses and put them in a bucket of formaldehyde, just like Kentucky Fried Chicken. I couldn\u2019t take it any longer, and I quit.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It\u2019s easy to imagine the horror that took place in Eidelman\u2019s clinic every day.\u00a0Laboring mothers giving birth to dead babies, which needed to\u00a0be snatched away quickly before the mothers\u00a0saw\u00a0the child and realized the gravity of what they’d done. Repeatedly lying to the women to convince them that their abortions were no big deal. Dehumanizing aborted babies even while handling their perfectly formed bodies, and putting these fully formed bodies in buckets of formaldehyde. It\u2019s easy to see why Eidelman quit.<\/p>\n

Second trimester abortion today is, if anything, even more brutal. Late-term abortions are now usually performed by D&E, in which the baby is torn apart with forceps. You can read more about this grisly and gruesome procedure here.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n
