margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>While most of Planned Parenthood&#8217;s known offenses have occurred in the U.S., the world is taking note &#8211;\u00a0and concern is spreading that Planned Parenthood may be breaking the law in other parts of the world, as well.<\/p>\n<p>Several members of the European Parliament proposed an inquiry into the Planned Parenthood\u00a0scandal in America, as well as into the International Planned Parenthood Federation, which currently\u00a0receives funding from the European Commission.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Members\u00a0called on the European Union to defund Planned Parenthood until investigations are carried out in Europe, and urged\u00a0stricter controls on EU development aid to avoid unethical and illegal practices involving the sale of fetal body parts in Europe.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/petition\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-68636 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/DefundAd-400b.jpg\" alt=\"DefundAd-400b\" width=\"400\" height=\"170\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/DefundAd-400b.jpg 400w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/DefundAd-400b-300x128.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Live Action president Lila Rose <a href=\"https:\/\/liveaction.org\/press\/members-of-european-parliament-call-on-eu-to-defund-planned-parenthood\/\" target=\"_blank\">addressed<\/a> members of the European Parliament gathered in Brussels on\u00a0the Planned Parenthood &#8220;baby parts&#8221; scandal and other controversies\u00a0surrounding the abortion giant.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Planned Parenthood Federation of America is currently under investigation in the United States for the barbaric practice of dismembering and harvesting the body parts of children it aborts, illegally selling those parts for profit, harvesting organs from babies born with hearts still beating, and putting mothers at risk by illegally altering the abortion procedure to obtain more intact organs,&#8221;
