Preborn babies can hear and respond to music much sooner than previously believed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For the first time ever,&#8221; it can be scientifically proven that a preborn baby detects and responds to sound at 16 weeks gestation.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fucWafSZPsc\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Institut Marques <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/health\/article-3264023\/Amazing-video-shows-babies-SINGING-womb-Foetus-hear-music-early-16-weeks-respond-moving-mouths-tongues.html\">reports<\/a> (emphasis mine):<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8220;Ultrasound\u201d, the journal of the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS), has published our study entitled \u201cFetal Facial Expression in Response to Intravaginally Transmitted Music\u201d, an innovative research project on fetal hearing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">This report explains that, beginning in week 16 of pregnancy, a response exists to music delivered intravaginally, expressed through specific movements of the mouth and tongue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Our initial hypothesis suggests that music creates a response which manifests as vocalisation movements, as it activates the brain circuits that stimulate language and communication. <strong>In other words, learning begins in utero.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Daily Mail <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/health\/article-3264023\/Amazing-video-shows-babies-SINGING-womb-Foetus-hear-music-early-16-weeks-respond-moving-mouths-tongues.html#ixzz3o5wujfR3\">reports<\/a>: &#8220;[U]ntil now experts did not believe a foetus could hear until week 18, at the earliest but more commonly nearer 26 weeks.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This scientific discovery is just one more in a long line, proving the absolute humanity, beauty, and value of preborn babies. As science develops, we gain windows to the womb that show us the valuable person we lose every time an abortion is committed.<\/p>\n<p>Abortion does not take a potential life: it take the real, actual, life of a human being.
