Last month, Sarah Terzo wrote about<\/a> \u00a0abortion activist Bunnie Riedel. Riedel composed the foreword for a book called Abortion: My Choice, God\u2019s Grace. Written by Anne Eggebroten, it presents a number of moral arguments for abortion, such as:<\/p>\n

Usually, the news of beginning pregnancy is a time of celebration, but when it is not, a safe and legal way of ending the pregnancy should be available. Jesus can speak to the zygote or even fertilized egg, bless it, and call it back to God\u2019s presence.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As Terzo pointed out, they’re not the most convincing. Yet despite spending decades supporting the abortion industry, Riedel recently found herself troubled by it.<\/p>\n

The Center for Medical Progress<\/a> (CMP) has released undercover videos\u00a0that show\u00a0meetings between Planned Parenthood officials and\u00a0people\u00a0claiming to be\u00a0fetal tissue buyers. Riedel wasn’t happy\u00a0with what she saw.<\/p>\n

In an opinion piece for The Baltimore Sun<\/a>,\u00a0she complained about \u201cthe seemingly cavalier attitude\u201d clinic personnel had. In particular, she objected to how \u201cthey laugh, they make jokes, they appear to haggle over the price of the body parts and they describe making it \u2018less crunchy.\u2019\u201d After watching the recordings, Riedel\u00a0believes many will be left wondering, \u201cDid they talk like that about my abortion?\u201d<\/p>\n

Yeah, probably.<\/p>\n

Riedel is correct that abortion staff\u00a0display a cavalier attitude towards the lives they end. Nine minutes and forty two seconds into CMP\u2019s fifth video, staff at Planned Parenthood\u2019s Gulf Coast affiliate are asked if there are any \u201cfresh specimens\u201d available. They burst out laughing and explain that it\u2019s \u201cbeen a long day\u201d so the body parts are all \u201call mixed up together in a bag.\u201d Nevertheless, they manage to find what\u2019s left of a child aborted at twenty weeks. \u201cIt was a twin,\u201d one of them remarks.<\/p>\n
