VanDerhei admits:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><!--more-->We\u2019re non-profit, we\u2019re mission-based, that might be kind of a different situation with independents though I have been talking to the executive director of the National Abortion Federation, we\u2019re trying to figure this out as an industry about how we\u2019re going to manage remuneration. <strong>Because the headlines would be a disaster.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/c9EU_02c5bM\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<div class=\"\">\n<p>In another part of the conversation, she says:\u00a0And think, \u201c<span class=\"highlight begin selected\">N<\/span><span class=\"highlight end selected\">ew York<\/span> Times headline,\u201d when you\u2019re creating your\u00a0policy. And that memo is over a decade old. So one of things that we\u2019re going to do is use this meeting that I\u2019m telling you about this panel in a couple weeks to inform a new memo.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"\">\n<p>Of course, that was February, and there were no headlines yet\u2014 but there are now. Instead, it has taken its stand with the nation&#8217;s largest abortion chain, offering Americans\u00a0tips on how to support and defend illegal activity that\u00a0results in babies being born alive, portioned out, and\u00a0sold.<\/p>\n<p>Clearly, Americans can no longer\u00a0call the New York Times a classy news outlet. Planned Parenthood\u00a0can, however, call them if they want someone to cover their back in baby-killing acts.
