Like many American voters, Chris Christie is fed up. He’s sick of Congress getting nothing done. He’s tired of President Obama’s ineffective leadership. And, as he made clear in an interview<\/a> with Chris Wallace, he’s angry about the divisive comments made by Democratic presidential candidates like Hillary Clinton, who last week compared pro-life Republicans to terrorists<\/a>, saying:<\/p>\n

\n

Extreme views about women \u2014 we expect that from some of the terrorists groups.\u00a0 We expect that from people who don\u2019t want to live in the modern world.\u00a0 But it\u2019s a little hard to take coming from Republicans who want to be the president of the United States.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In his interview with Wallace, Christie fired back at Clinton…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

Comparing Republicans to terrorist groups – there\u2019s a real uniter.\u00a0 That\u2019s the woman you want sitting in the Oval Office to bring our country back together?…<\/p>\n

She\u2019s a disgrace for saying that, for comparing Republicans to terrorist groups….<\/p>\n

Can you imagine if we compared the Democratic Party to terrorist groups?\u00a0 Can you imagine the outrage in the mainstream media for that?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Christie proceeded to go on the offensive, criticizing Clinton for her willful ignorance of Planned Parenthood’s illegal<\/a> actions, and her continued support of the abortion provider:<\/p>\n

\n

Well, here\u2019s what I don\u2019t think mainstream America\u2019s for: I don\u2019t think mainstream America is for an organization getting federal funding, who kills children in the womb, in a particular way, so that it maximizes the value of their body parts on the open market for sale for profit.<\/p>\n

Now, if Mrs. Clinton thinks that\u2019s what mainstream America likes, I\u2019m happy to have the debate with her. But, of course, she won\u2019t even answer those questions because she doesn\u2019t even want to talk about what\u2019s really going on at Planned Parenthood.\u00a0 She just wants to talk about these vague generalities about ‘war on women.’<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Governor Christie\u00a0went on to challenge Congress –\u00a0which has been largely ineffective recently – to take leadership,\u00a0do their jobs, and make things happen.\u00a0 In response to a comment by Wallace on the President’s veto power, Christie had this to say:<\/p>\n

\n

Well, you know what? Maybe we should test the\u00a0President, because in the end, we haven\u2019t done anything yet in Congress to test him.\u00a0 I think we should be putting it on his desk.\u00a0 I think we should be passing repeal and replacement of ObamaCare and putting it on his desk. Let the United States people see, let us see who the real obstructionist is in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

We elected a Republican Senate and a Republican House to get things done.\u00a0 Let them put those things on the president\u2019s desk and let the president show the American people that he doesn\u2019t want to run the government.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Currently polling<\/a> at 11th place in a crowded field of GOP presidential contenders, Gov. Christie has\u00a0a tough climb ahead of him as he seeks the party’s nomination. But it is likely that many voters can identify with Christie’s perspectives on Clinton, President Obama, and Congress.
