Earlier this year, Kansas and Oklahoma passed bans<\/a> on dismemberment abortions, which involve exactly what you would expect when you think of the term “dismemberment.”\u00a0Nebraska legislators are now\u00a0proposing\u00a0a bill that\u00a0would ban the brutal practice in their state, reports Life News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Although many pro-aborts object to the term “dismemberment abortion,” it is a perfectly accurate description of the procedure.\u00a0National Right to Life Director of State Legislation Mary Spaulding Balch, J.D. says lawmakers must act<\/a>:<\/p>\n

When abortion textbooks describe in cold, explicit detail exactly how to kill a human being by ripping off arms and legs piece by piece, civilized members of society have no choice but to stand up and demand a change.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Julie Schmit-Albin, Executive Director of Nebraska Right to Life, said\u00a0undercover videos released by The Center for Medical Progress have helped to educate the American public on the truly inhumane and disturbing practices that take place in many abortion clinics, including those associated with Planned Parenthood. People are starting to realize the brutal nature of abortion practices.<\/p>\n

According to the\u00a0Journal Star<\/a>, “Nebraska became the first state in the nation to ban most abortions beginning at 20 weeks” in 2010. This was “based on\u00a0the theory that by that point, a fetus has the capacity to feel pain.”<\/p>\n
