\u00a0In a recent Facebook post<\/a>, Planned Parenthood said:<\/p>\n

We lost the vote on the awful (and awfully-named) bill HR 358, the “Protect Life Act” yesterday, but there were some shining moments. Check out the awesome compilation of the 18 House Democrats who spoke out against the bill. Their voices, mixed with the 6,000 calls generated by supporters like YOU made it loud and clear that the priorities in Congress are way out of line.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Protect Life Act<\/a> will do two things:<\/p>\n

1) It will block taxpayer funds from going to pay for abortion coverage in insurance plans under the Obama health care law.<\/p>\n

2) It will protect health care professionals from being forced to participate in abortions.<\/p>\n
