Lawmakers are also requesting a new hotline dedicated to taking reports of illegal activities by abortion facilities, and for the Tennessee\u00a0Bureau of Investigation to begin investigating for signs of activities like those exposed by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/\">Center for Medical Progress<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Haslam, a Republican who <a href=\"http:\/\/nashvillecitypaper.com\/content\/city-news\/bill-haslam-your-next-governor\">identifies<\/a> as pro-life, has responded that he shares the senators\u2019 concerns and is \u201cmore than willing to have that conversation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Selling aborted fetal organs has been illegal in the state since 1989.
