As leader of the free world, President Obama lives with awesome responsibility. At any moment, he may have to\u00a0handle\u00a0issues that affect all of\u00a0humanity\u00a0– crucial, vital questions like who\u2019s going to\u00a0win the NCAA Men\u2019s Basketball Championship.<\/p>\n

Every year, the President gets on ESPN<\/a> and fills in brackets with his March Madness\u00a0predictions. Apparently this is known as “Barack-etology” (the term appears<\/a> on the official White House website). That nomenclature\u00a0might sound impressive, but the results haven\u2019t been: while Kentucky was prophesied to take the crown this year, Duke had other ideas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Of course, this isn\u2019t the\u00a0only time Obama has made the wrong prediction.\u00a0It\u00a0also happened<\/a> when,\u00a0as an Illinois state senator, he\u00a0spoke against legislation requiring medical care for\u00a0babies who survive abortions.\u00a0The bill demanded that in addition to the abortionist, a second\u00a0physician be brought in to ensure care was properly rendered. State Sen. Obama didn\u2019t see the need for this, contending that abortionists\u00a0would feel “that obligation” to help surviving children anyway.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Not everyone shared Obama\u2019s sense of optimism. Many suspected that a doctor who was\u00a0hired to kill someone wouldn’t\u00a0be the best choice\u00a0when it came to\u00a0saving that individual\u2019s life. And as we’ve seen, those suspicions were well founded.<\/p>\n
