Yesterday, the Center for Medical\u00a0Progress released a seventh undercover expos\u00e9<\/a>\u00a0about Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n

It is truly nauseating.\u00a0But you need to watch it.\u00a0And you need to let it change your life.\u00a0<\/em>Let me tell you why these videos are changing mine.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

When many people get\u00a0married, they are at an emotional pinnacle. The passion and\u00a0excitement of the engagement and wedding combine\u00a0to\u00a0produce an intense connection to your spouse.<\/p>\n

It’s easy to think these feelings will\u00a0never go away. That\u00a0you will live the rest of your life at this heightened emotional state of ecstasy and bliss.<\/p>\n

\"\"But after the first few weeks, the excitement\u00a0of your wedding ceremony and honeymoon can begin to fade. As you go on in your life together, the distractions, annoyances, and daily pressures of life can conspire to rob you of your inward feelings and outward expressions of love for your husband or wife.<\/p>\n

If you want to stay married, and if you want to have a good marriage, you cannot rely on these feelings alone.<\/em> You must make a promise, to yourself\u00a0and to your spouse,\u00a0that you will do whatever it takes to maintain the same level of commitment you had on your wedding day.<\/p>\n

Your feelings and expressions of love may change.\u00a0From day to day, year to year, season to season, they will undoubtably ebb and flow.<\/p>\n

However,\u00a0they must never stop.<\/em><\/p>\n

You will not always feel the way you did when you first walked down the aisle, but your COMMITMENT must be unwavering. Resolute. Steadfast.<\/p>\n

In a way, this mirrors my approach to these Planned Parenthood\u00a0videos. They are so deeply moving. So catastrophic. Each one is a new milestone. Each one is horrific.<\/p>\n

These last few weeks have almost felt like the psychological inverse of getting married. If weddings are an emotional Mt. Everest, these videos feel close to the Mariana Trench.<\/p>\n

But\u00a0this is\u00a0good news!<\/p>\n

Right now, people are\u00a0HEARTBROKEN. And they are ANGRY.\u00a0These Planned Parenthood videos could be a tipping point\u00a0for\u00a0thousands of people<\/em> in the fight to end abortion.<\/p>\n

We need to recognize that these feelings may come and go. Society’s\u00a0expressions of outrage may wax and wane, and the emotional impact of these videos may waver for those who have seen them.<\/p>\n

But you and I CANNOT waver.<\/p>\n

We CANNOT allow the inevitable fatigue<\/em> to become apathy<\/em>.<\/p>\n

We must ask people to COMMIT to join\u00a0us in this struggle for human rights. Whatever it takes, you and I must highly resolve to end these barbaric<\/em> and violations of human dignity.<\/p>\n
