She describes what happens after\u00a0another staffer called her over to look at a well-developed human fetus: &#8220;And she just taps the heart, and it starts beating. And I\u2019m sitting here and I\u2019m looking at this fetus, and its heart is beating, and I don\u2019t know what to think.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Donnell then talks\u00a0about being instructed to harvest the brain from this aborted child. She is told to cut open the face from the chin upward and collect the brain for shipment.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FzMAycMMXp8\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>One section of the video includes a recording attributed to Dr. Ben Van Handel, Executive Director of Novogenix Laboratories which harvests organs from aborted babies. His testimony is consistent with\u00a0O\u2019Donnell&#8217;s,\u00a0saying that,\u00a0&#8220;there are times when after the procedure is done that the heart actually is still beating.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Center for Medical Progress Project Lead David Daleiden who had led the investigation into Planned Parenthood, stated\u00a0that:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201cToday\u2019s video contains heartrending admissions about the absolute barbarism of Planned Parenthood\u2019s abortion practice and baby parts sales in which fetuses are sometimes delivered intact and alive. Planned Parenthood is a criminal organization from the top down and should be immediately stripped of taxpayer funding and prosecuted for their atrocities against humanity.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Live Action President Lila Rose responded, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Today we learned of another life cut short by Planned Parenthood, a fully formed baby still intact with a heart still beating as technicians carve his little face in order to harvest a brain. It is difficult to even speak of such horror, and yet our nation allows and even funds these atrocities against our weakest children. This little one is among the hundreds of thousands of lives extinguished every year by Planned Parenthood, a corporation that taxpayers are forced to fund with over a half billion dollars a year while the abortion giant harvests, traffics and profits from the illegal sale of baby organs. It is time for people of decency to fully embrace the humanity and dignity of these innocents and demand an end to these barbaric acts of violence and cruelty. It is time to protect women and children by defunding and shutting down the abusive and criminal enterprise that is Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The latest allegations follow the release of multiple undercover\u00a0tapes with top-level Planned Parenthood staffers which depict negotiations over compensation for fetal body parts.<\/p>\n<p>The first tape released has garnered almost three million views, as the public reacted in shock to seeing Planned Parenthood Director Deborah Nucatola explain how they would modifiy their abortion procedure to collect organs:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">We\u2019ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I\u2019m not gonna crush that part, I\u2019m gonna basically crush below, I\u2019m gonna crush above, and I\u2019m gonna see if I can get it all intact.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jjxwVuozMnU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Video from a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=MjCs_gvImyw\">second<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GWQuZMvcFA8\">third<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=egGUEvY7CEg\">fourth<\/a> Planned Parenthood affiliate followed, and calls to\u00a0end taxpayer funding for the U.S. abortion giant intensified. While a move by the U.S. Senate to end funding for Planned Parenthood and move the funds to other providers garnered majority support, it fell short of the 60 votes needed to break a filibuster by Senate Democrats.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" size-full wp-image-68636 aligncenter\" src=\"\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/DefundAd-400b.jpg\" alt=\"DefundAd-400b\" width=\"400\" height=\"170\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/DefundAd-400b.jpg 400w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/DefundAd-400b-300x128.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Over 10 states, in addition to Congress, have launched their own investigation into the practices of Planned Parenthood. \u00a0State level action has also occurred with <a href=\"\/news\/breaking-alabama-governor-terminates-states-medicaid-agreement-planned-parenthood\/\">Alabama,<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"\/news\/breaking-louisiana-governor-announces-termination-medicaid-contract-planned-parenthood\/\">Louisiana,<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"\/news\/arkansas-defunds-planned-parenthood-in-light-of-baby-parts-scandal\/\" target=\"_blank\">Arkansas<\/a>, and <a href=\"\/news\/breaking-utah-becomes-fifth-state-to-distance-itself-from-planned-parenthood\/\" target=\"_blank\">Utah<\/a>\u00a0terminating their\u00a0Medicaid contracts with Planned Parenthood and <a href=\"\/news\/breaking-new-hampshire-defunds-planned-parenthood-response-scandal\/\">New Hampshire ending state funding<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This morning, The Center for Medical Progress released new interview footage that shows former\u00a0StemExpress blood and tissue procurement\u00a0technician\u00a0Holly O\u2019Donnell.
