Today, on the west steps of the Capitol in Denver, a group of concerned citizens and community leaders called on the government to investigate Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n

The rally was part of the #WomenBetrayed movement<\/a>, which is exposing how Planned Parenthood – and the abortion industry as a whole – lies to women<\/a>, harms them physically and emotionally<\/a>, and kills<\/a> and sells the bodies<\/a> of their children.<\/p>\n

One of the most horrifying undercover videos<\/a> released by the Center for\u00a0Medical Progress was taped at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Denver. Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains is one of the most corrupt branches of the abortion giant<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Yet, the Colorado government remains silent. Despite pressure from average citizens and legal experts, the government has so far refused to respond.<\/p>\n

Alliance Defending Freedom sent a second letter<\/a> Monday on behalf of Colorado Family Action to Colorado\u2019s governor, speaker of the house, and senate president asking for an investigation of Planned Parenthood and an immediate end to taxpayer funding of the abortion giant (#DefundPP<\/a>). The first letter<\/a> was sent in July amidst controversy concerning Planned Parenthood\u2019s apparent sale of baby body parts and its Colorado affiliate\u2019s negligence in reporting the rape of a minor.<\/p>\n

\u201cAmerican tax dollars should only be used to foster the health and well-being of women\u2014not as part of Planned Parenthood\u2019s barbaric baby parts sale scheme,\u201d said ADF Legal Counsel Natalie Decker. \u201cAmerica does not need Planned Parenthood, which is only used by a very small minority of women. Women are better served by the numerous community health clinics that care about women instead of an organization that puts its bottom line first and manipulates abortion procedures in order to obtain viable baby body parts to sell.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

On the Capitol steps, ADF Senior Counsel, Michael J. Norton, announced that Governor Hickenlooper had not even bothered to give the courtesy of a response.<\/p>\n

Norton decried the “conspiracy of violence” in Colorado, demonstrated by the state’s complete refusal to act in the face of the incriminating evidence that continues to pile up against Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains.<\/p>\n

It was Dr. Savita Ginde, Vice President and Medical Director of PPRM who was caught on tape exclaiming <\/a>that a just-aborted baby was “another boy.” Ginde admitted that roughly 10% of second-trimester babies at PPRM are born before the abortion is performed, raising legal questions of whether these babies are born alive and killed or left to die<\/a>. Norton asserted that all citizens can agree that the activities Planned Parenthood has been participating in are not worth financing with our money. Yet because Planned Parenthood has “so much money, so much power, so much influence,” they are working hard to prevent the state government from investigating and defunding.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, women are being harmed and betrayed by Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
