Chris Wallace, reporting for the news program &#8220;20\/20,&#8221; and a producer acting as a buyer, secretly recorded\u00a0a leader\u00a0from a bio-tech company discussing the sale of aborted babies. The video is disgusting and sadly familiar.\u00a0 It is chilling proof that the\u00a0sale of\u00a0fetal parts\u00a0shown\u00a0in the Center for Medical Progress <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCXSI8qkDPz1CZj1u9I8Wbcg\">videos<\/a>\u00a0has been a booming business for years.<\/p>\n<p>While the\u00a0undercover investigation took place 15\u00a0years ago, leaders in our government are still denying that these things occur. Here are some of the details\u00a0exposed\u00a0in the &#8220;20\/20&#8221; report.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tKTBaabFVbQ\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><b><strong>Laws are broken as\u00a0preborn babies\u00a0are trafficked for the highest price<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p>In the undercover video, an investigative journalist posing as a buyer\u00a0asks Dr. Myles Jones,\u00a0leader of a biotech company,\u00a0over a dinner of roast duck, what a fetus goes for.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr. Jones<\/strong> \u2013 If you have a guy that\u2019s say, desperate for a heart, than he\u2019ll pay you whatever you ask.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Producer<\/strong>&#8211; What does a brain go for? What does a kidney or liver go for?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr.Jones<\/strong>&#8211; It\u2019s market force; it\u2019s what you can sell it for.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr. Jones<\/strong> \u2013 We had projections of $50,000 a week. Some weeks you can hit that and some weeks you can\u2019t. It\u2019s just a matter of being able to match supply and demand.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/plannedparenthoodexposed.com\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" size-full wp-image-68636 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/DefundAd-400b.jpg\" alt=\"DefundAd-400b\" width=\"400\" height=\"170\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/DefundAd-400b.jpg 400w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/DefundAd-400b-300x128.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Abortion procedures are manipulated to harvest\u00a0intact\u00a0baby parts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A man named Dean Alberti, who once worked for a middleman fetal sales company, called Anatomic Gift Foundation, told &#8220;20\/20&#8221; that abortions were altered to obtain higher quality parts. He mentions a clinic in Overland Park, Kansas, that typically\u00a0did abortions with a suction machine.<\/p>\n<p>When a baby\u00a0was donated, however, the\u00a0abortionist\u00a0would use a syringe supplied by AGF. Experts say the method would cause a longer procedure. At the end of the episode, Wallace interviews James Barsley, a leader in the Anatomic Gift Foundation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wallace:<\/strong> Did AGF ever encourage doctors to alter abortions to get better specimens?<\/p>\n<p><strong>AGF leader<\/strong>: No absolutely not. First of all, that would be illegal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wallace<\/strong>: But wasn\u2019t AGF supplying those syringes to get better tissue?<\/p>\n<p><strong>AGF leader:<\/strong> Yeah, I don\u2019t believe that was altering the technique.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wallace:<\/strong> Doesn\u2019t the special syringe add 15 mins to the abortion?<\/p>\n<p><strong>AGF leader:<\/strong> I don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wallace:<\/strong> Oh, yes sure you do.<\/p>\n<p><strong>AGF leader:<\/strong> In some cases, perhaps it takes longer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women consent to tissue\u00a0donation without knowing all of the facts. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cindy Smith, a mother of five, discovered\u00a0she was pregnant with twins after getting radiation treatment; however, a doctor told Smith the twins were dying inside of her. Smith then decided to end her pregnancy and said her only comfort came from consenting to give her babies to science.<\/p>\n<p>After learning through the investigation that her baby parts were sold for profit, Smith\u00a0said: \u201cI did not donate thinking that someone was going to profit. That just really bothers me; that\u2019s not what I intended at all&#8230;Makes me almost feel the one good thing I did maybe wasn\u2019t that good at all. \u201c<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Jones said earlier in the recording: \u201cYou can get something that has all the legal mumbo-jumbo in it and they\u2019ll sign it anyway. If you have someone trained to ask properly, you can get 80-90\u00a0percent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Taking babies\u00a0without consent\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dean Alberti, the whistleblower who left the business of fetal procurement, said the companies he worked for\u2014\u00a0Opening Lines and Anatomic Gift Foundation\u2014 pressured him to get as many baby parts\u00a0as possible. He said at times they told him to take it from women who did not donate\u00a0them\u00a0for research. Alberti said he was told, &#8220;If they\u2019re not looking, they\u2019re not looking\u00a0\u2014just grab a pancareas.&#8221; Wallace asked him, \u201cDid you do it?\u201d \u201cYes I did,&#8221;he responded.<\/p>\n<p>Alberti said he helped to put together the price lists for these companies. On one list, we see $325 for spinal cord and $999 for a brain. When Wallace asked how these prices were determined, he said there was no way to justify the prices. He said the price list on the flyer for &#8220;fresh fetal tissue harvested and shipped&#8221; just represented greed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Planned Parenthood President gave meaningless statement to attempt to appease the public.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Planned Parenthood President Gloria Felt appeared on ABC, saying, \u201cIt seems inappropriate, totally inappropriate. Where there is wrongdoing, it should be prosecuted, and people who are doing that kind of thing should be brought to justice.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Congress attempts to take action <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the end of the interview, Wallace said, \u201cTomorrow a congressional sub-committee will hold a hearing on fetal tissue trafficking, and the Dean Alberti whistleblower will be the star witness.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the closing of the episode, Wallace is asked why there hasn&#8217;t been any enforcement of the laws that are against altering abortion procedures and selling baby body parts. Wallace said he didn&#8217;t know why, but he hoped the investigation would be the first step in figuring that out.<\/p>\n<p>The ABC News\u00a0investigation is disturbing, and further emphasizes why we cannot afford to let this issue be swept under the rug again.
