In <a title=\"GOP vs. Planned Parenthood\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/NARAL08092015Email.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">the latest<\/a>, group president Ilyse Hogue claims that GOP candidates are \u201cstanding with violent, anti-choice militants with a history of bombing clinics and supporting the murder of doctors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yep. We\u2019re back to this again.<\/p>\n<p>In July, the <a href=\"http:\/\/centerformedicalprogress.org\/\">Center for Medical Progress<\/a> (CMP) began to release a series of videos. Shot with hidden cameras, they feature Planned Parenthood officials offering to commit <a title=\"How many crimes has Planned Parenthood committed? Only one way to find out.\" href=\"\/news\/many-crimes-planned-parenthood-committed-one-way-find\/\" target=\"_blank\">multiple felonies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>They also provide a glimpse into the mindset at Planned Parenthood. In the fourth one, a doctor\u00a0refers to\u00a0the fetus she just aborted as \u201c<a title=\"Planned Parenthood admits on tape: \u2018It\u2019s a baby\u2019\" href=\"\/news\/planned-parenthood-admits-on-tape-its-a-baby\/\" target=\"_blank\">a baby<\/a>.\u201d Later, an assistant cheerfully notes that there\u2019s \u201c<a title=\"\u2018Another boy!\u2019 Planned Parenthood staff sifts through aborted \u2018baby parts\u2019 in new tape\" href=\"\/news\/planned-parenthood-baby-parts-scandal-grows-as-new-tape-released\/\" target=\"_blank\">another boy<\/a>\u201d on the table in front of her.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s in pieces.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GWQuZMvcFA8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Instead of trying to defend what\u2019s on the footage, Planned Parenthood and it\u2019s allies are attacking the people who recorded it. Last month, Hogue leveled the same allegations about &#8220;anti-choice militants,&#8221;\u00a0citing as evidence <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2015\/07\/22\/us\/with-planned-parenthood-videos-activist-ignites-abortion-issue.html?_r=1\" target=\"_blank\">a story <\/a>in the New York Times.<\/p>\n<p>There was just one problem: as Live Action\u2019s Susan Michelle <a title=\"Abortion group defends Planned Parenthood: Pro-lifers are \u2018militant extremists\u2019 and killers\" href=\"\/news\/abortion-group-defends-planned-parenthood-pro-lifers-militant-extremists-killers\/\" target=\"_blank\">pointed out<\/a>, the Times article didn\u2019t say that CMP or it\u2019s founder, David Daleiden, had committed any acts of violence.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m wondering if Michelle\u2019s\u00a0rebuttal made the rounds at NARAL, because a different Times story <a title=\"Fear That Debate Could Hurt G.O.P. in Women\u2019s Eyes\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2015\/08\/08\/us\/politics\/fear-that-debate-could-hurt-gop-in-womens-eyes.html?_r=0\" target=\"_blank\">is cited<\/a> in the email I received. Unfortunately, this one doesn\u2019t tie Daleiden to violence either. In fact, it doesn\u2019t mention him at all.<\/p>\n<p>If Ms. Hogue really wants to find those willing to commit shootings and bombings, then she should look closer to home. After all, the abortion industry has a long history of dealing with violent individuals; they help pay the bills.<\/p>\n<p>Child support isn\u2019t cheap, so\u00a0some men see abortion as a\u00a0great money saver. That\u2019s probably why\u00a0there\u00a0are\u00a0studies suggesting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theunchoice.com\/News\/ruestudy.htm\">more than half<\/a> of women who abort feel pressured to do so. This can involve<a href=\"http:\/\/clinicquotes.com\/the-coerced-abortion-epidemic\/\"> financial coercion<\/a> or threats of<a href=\"http:\/\/articles.latimes.com\/1998\/nov\/08\/news\/mn-40405\"> personal blackmail<\/a>. She was killed with a homemade bomb after refusing\u00a0his demands for an abortion. Her three year-old daughter\u00a0died along with her.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-2338710\/Man-begged-friend-kill-girlfriend-refused-abortion.html#ixzz3DASvi9eZ\">Shamari Jenkins<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/parents-north-carolina-teen-murdered-by-boyfriend-over-abortion\">Hawa Gabbidon<\/a> were shot to death for doing the same. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.whio.com\/\/news\/news\/local\/pregnant-woman-shot-babys-father\/nZyFF\/\">Tanner Hopkins<\/a> also opened fire on his pregnant girlfriend when she didn\u2019t want to make a clinic appointment. Alex Santana went for a knife instead,\u00a0<a title=\"Teen held in pregnant woman\u2019s stabbing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.boston.com\/news\/local\/massachusetts\/articles\/2009\/08\/19\/teen_held_in_pregnant_womans_stabbing\/\" target=\"_blank\">repeatedly stabbing<\/a>\u00a0girlfriend Leah Diver.\u00a0\u00a0 Although\u00a0the later two\u00a0victims survived, many aren\u2019t so lucky.<\/p>\n<p>Tasha Rossett wasn\u2019t. The 23 year-old woman was<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/canada\/british-columbia\/surrey-man-convicted-in-2005-murder-of-pregnant-lover-1.1357452\"> found dead<\/a> with a slashed throat after resisting demands that she abort her child. <a title=\"Slain pregnant woman refused to have abortion\" href=\"http:\/\/www.canada.com\/cityguides\/toronto\/info\/story.html?id=16c6d45c-7ef1-4068-bd8f-65838bbd9132\" target=\"_blank\">Roxanne Fernando<\/a> and\u00a0<a title=\"Maine man accused of killing Shaniesha Forbes thought she was pregnant\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/news\/crime\/maine-man-accused-killing-shaniesha-forbes-thought-pregnant-article-1.1345779\" target=\"_blank\">Shaniesha Forbes<\/a> both met similar ends.<\/p>\n<p>Planned Parenthood is America\u2019s largest abortion chain, performing over <a title=\"SERVICES--Planned Parenthood\" href=\"http:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/files\/4013\/9611\/7243\/Planned_Parenthood_Services.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">three hundred thousand<\/a> every year. And according to\u00a0those who\u00a0have\u00a0worked there, the group isn\u2019t too concerned about whether those abortions <a title=\"Planned Parenthood can provide an abortion\u2026 whether you want one or not.\" href=\"\/news\/planned-parenthood-can-provide-abortion-whether-want-one-not\/\" target=\"_blank\">are wanted<\/a>. Former Planned Parenthood clinic director <a title=\"Abby Johnson\" href=\"\/news\/?s=abby+johnson+\" target=\"_blank\">Abby Johnson<\/a>\u00a0and six\u00a0other ex-employees signed <a title=\"Former Planned Parenthood Workers Back Congressional Probe\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2011\/12\/07\/former-planned-parenthood-workers-back-congressional-probe\/\" target=\"_blank\">an open letter<\/a> to Congress stating that the organization\u2019s policies and practices fail to stop coercion.<\/p>\n<p>They certainly haven\u2019t protected child <a title=\"I\u2019m not surprised Planned Parenthood would sell body parts; they\u2019ve been selling out abuse victims for years.\" href=\"\/news\/im-not-surprised-planned-parenthood-sell-body-parts-theyve-selling-abuse-victims-years\/\" target=\"_blank\">sex abuse victims<\/a>. In case after case, Planned Parenthood staff have\u00a0failed to\u00a0report clear evidence of sexual abuse. Instead, they\u2019ve performed coverup abortions that have allowed it to continue.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019ve been caught offering to do that on camera, too. When Live Action founder Lila Rose told a Planned Parenthood counselor that she was a minor who had been impregnated by her adult boyfriend, Rose was instructed to lie about the man\u2019s age when seeking an abortion.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qMlrAj4v4J4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Visits to other Planned Parenthood\u00a0centers yielded <a title=\"Sexual Abuse Coverup at Planned Parenthood\" href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/monalisa\/\" target=\"_blank\">similar results<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Pro-lifers are trying to address this. In February, Texas state Rep. Molly White co-sponsored<a href=\"http:\/\/www.house.state.tx.us\/news\/press-releases\/?id=5269\"> a bill<\/a> requiring that abortion clinics provide private rooms containing information about assistance programs and a telephone with which to contact law enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>NARAL Pro-Choice Texas wasn\u2019t amused.\u00a0\u00a0<a title=\"Texas lawmaker files bill to protect women forced into abortion\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myfoxaustin.com\/story\/28164114\/texas-lawmaker-files-bill-to-protect-women-forced-into-abortion%20\" target=\"_blank\">According to<\/a>\u00a0their legislative counsel, this legislation created &#8220;a problem where none exists to push yet more abortion legislation in Texas that is not needed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>You can make a difference by supporting similar laws in your state. You can also sign Live Action\u2019s petition asking Congress to end its <a title=\"Planned Parenthood receives record amount of taxpayer support\" href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/2013\/01\/08\/planned-parenthood-receives-record-amount-taxpayer-support\/\" target=\"_blank\">half billion<\/a> dollar subsidy to Planned Parenthood. It\u2019s available <a title=\"Planned Parenthood Exposed\" href=\"http:\/\/plannedparenthoodexposed.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>, along with more proof of Planned Parenthood\u2019s wrongdoing.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, if Ilyse Hogue wants to do something about violent criminals, then I have a simple suggestion for her: stop helping them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As I\u2019ve explained before, I get regular\u00a0emails from NARAL Pro-Choice America.
