If ever there was a time to defund Planned Parenthood, it would be now. Not only does\u00a0the organization,\u00a0founded by a racist eugenist,\u00a0<\/a>perform\u00a0the most abortions in the country, it routinely commits\u00a0an onslaught of abuses. The abortion giant’s\u00a0harvesting and trafficking of fetal body parts, while saddening, is only the latest example of lawbreaking by Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n

After videos by the Center for Medical Progress showed top Planned Parenthood employees discussing their fetal parts business, swift actions taken by lawmakers hint that officials\u00a0may be ready to\u00a0defund the abortion giant this time.\u00a0What makes today’s vote\u00a0so noteworthy is that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell\u00a0fast-tracked<\/a> the vote.<\/p>\n

The Senate bill would not only\u00a0defund Planned Parenthood, but send\u00a0funding\u00a0to federally qualified health centers, which do not provide abortions and adhere to\u00a0the law.<\/p>\n

And despite the\u00a0occupation of\u00a0the most pro-abortion president in the Oval Office, there is still hope. Leadership in the U.S. House of Representatives has called for an\u00a0investigation.<\/a> The Senate <\/a>and the House<\/a> have both sent letters,\u00a0a petition<\/a> has been sent to the White House,\u00a0and politicians on both aisles of the abortion debate\u00a0have spoken <\/a>or acted<\/a>. The public is\u00a0starting to realize the truth.<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood is the\u00a0master of\u00a0deception, and has been desperate to control the narrative<\/a>. The organization certainly has its political allies, most notably the president.\u00a0President Barack Obama has threatened to veto legislation <\/a>that would strip\u00a0taxpayer funding from the abortion giant.<\/p>\n

While\u00a0Planned Parenthood touts its\u00a0health care services for women,\u00a0under CEO Cecile Richards,<\/a> abortions have increased, but health services have\u00a0been cut. Yet\u00a0the organization receives\u00a0$1.4 million a day and over half a billion dollars a year from taxpayers. Planned Parenthood is able to claim a monopoly on such services because their facilities are federally funded.<\/p>\n

With every dollar the corporation\u00a0receives, it\u00a0kills innocent lives and funds\u00a0pro-abortion<\/a> candidates.<\/a>\u00a0The\u00a0latest scandal\u00a0has awakened and\u00a0disgusted the public\u2014even\u00a0former supporters<\/a> of the organization.<\/p>\n

In addition to profiting from the sale of fetal parts, Planned Parenthood abortionists admit on tape how they\u00a0modify the abortion procedure to ensure that parts are intact. Abortionists also describe using\u00a0a procedure similar to the illegal partial-birth abortion in order to harvest organs. The\u00a0abortion giant is clearly guilty of violating multiple federal statutes.<\/p>\n

While it may have taken the disrespect and desecration of human lives to get America’s attention, many are seeing Planned Parenthood for the evil that it is.\u00a0Planned Parenthood clearly\u00a0does not deserve another cent.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
