{"id":68880,"date":"2015-07-31T16:00:29","date_gmt":"2015-07-31T20:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"\/news\/?p=68880"},"modified":"2015-07-31T15:22:05","modified_gmt":"2015-07-31T19:22:05","slug":"planned-parenthood-can-provide-abortion-whether-want-one-not","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-can-provide-abortion-whether-want-one-not\/","title":{"rendered":"Planned Parenthood can provide an abortion&#8230; whether you want one or not."},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Life has gotten hard for Planned Parenthood boss Cecile Richards.<\/p>\n<p>Well, not really: she still makes almost <a title=\"Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards Makes $590,000 Aborting Babies for a Living\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2015\/07\/01\/planned-parenthood-president-cecile-richards-makes-590000-aborting-babies-for-a-living\/\" target=\"_blank\">six hundred thousand dollars <\/a>a year and\u00a0has supportive friends in the media.\u00a0\u00a0However, her credibility is looking a little rough.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jjxwVuozMnU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>This all started in mid-July when the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/\"> Center for Medical Progress<\/a> (CMP) released<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=H4UjIM9B9KQ\"> a video<\/a> of Planned Parenthood\u2019s senior director of medical services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, talking about<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gpo.gov\/fdsys\/pkg\/USCODE-2010-title42\/html\/USCODE-2010-title42-chap6A-subchapIII-partH-sec289g-2.htm\" target=\"_blank\"> illegally selling<\/a> organs from aborted children.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>She also discusses changing how abortions are performed in order to make organ collection easier, something federal law <a title=\"NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH REVITALIZATION ACT OF 1993\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hhs.gov\/ohrp\/policy\/publiclaw103-43.htm.html\" target=\"_blank\">prohibits.<\/a> And, at four minutes and ten seconds into the video above, Nucatola seems to advocate\u00a0performing gruesome <a title=\"18 U.S. Code \u00a7 1531 - Partial-birth abortions prohibited\" href=\"https:\/\/www.law.cornell.edu\/uscode\/text\/18\/1531\" target=\"_blank\">and illegal<\/a> partial-birth abortions.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"attachment-post-thumbnail wp-post-image\" src=\"\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/partialbirthabortion.jpg\" alt=\"partialbirthabortion\" width=\"672\" height=\"372\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Richards responded quickly, denying that Planned Parenthood profits \u201cin any way\u201d from the transfer of fetal tissue. CMP\u2019s next video made that kind of tough to believe.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MjCs_gvImyw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>This video features the president of Planned Parenthood\u2019s Medical Council, Dr. Mary Gatter. Gatter explicitly admits that the desire to harvest a child\u2019s organs can determine how he or she is aborted. But what really stands out is\u00a0the doctor&#8217;s\u00a0negotiating skills. Gatter makes it clear she doesn\u2019t want a \u201clowball\u201d price, and at seven minutes and fifty-seven seconds, she explains why: \u201cI want a Lamborghini.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Video number three followed, and it included an interview with Holly O\u2019Donnell, a phlebotomist whose job was to salvage organs from aborted children. The footage continues to disprove Richard\u2019s claim that Planned Parenthood isn\u2019t trying to make money from the sale of body parts.<\/p>\n<p>However, O\u2019Donnell alludes to a much older lie. At three minutes and fifty-four seconds into the video, she mentions \u201cthe poor girls who half the time don\u2019t even want to get abortions.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GWQuZMvcFA8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>While Planned Parenthood has long claimed to provide \u201cchoice,\u201d O\u2019Donnell\u2019s comment indicates otherwise. That isn\u2019t just her opinion: there\u2019s research suggesting <a title=\"64 Percent of Women Having Abortions Report Being Pressured; Trauma Symptoms Are Common\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theunchoice.com\/News\/ruestudy.htm\" target=\"_blank\">more than half<\/a> of women who abort feel pressured to do so. And as plenty of cases have shown, they can face horrific violence when they refuse.<\/p>\n<p>Tasha Rossett did. She was<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/canada\/british-columbia\/surrey-man-convicted-in-2005-murder-of-pregnant-lover-1.1357452\"> found dead<\/a> with a slashed throat after refusing her boyfriend\u2019s demand for an abortion. Other women have been <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-2338710\/Man-begged-friend-kill-girlfriend-refused-abortion.html\">shot<\/a>, <a title=\"Teen held in pregnant woman\u2019s stabbing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.boston.com\/news\/local\/massachusetts\/articles\/2009\/08\/19\/teen_held_in_pregnant_womans_stabbing\/\" target=\"_blank\">stabbed<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apnewsarchive.com\/2002\/Pa-Men-Gets-Life-For-Firebombings\/id-154f7d5446a665b04600c8d1c231ae7a\">burned<\/a>,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/news\/crime\/maine-man-accused-killing-shaniesha-forbes-thought-pregnant-article-1.1345779\"> smothered<\/a>, and<a href=\"http:\/\/www.canada.com\/cityguides\/toronto\/info\/story.html?id=16c6d45c-7ef1-4068-bd8f-65838bbd9132\"> beaten to death<\/a> for doing the same. It\u2019s not surprising that abusive men would be fans of abortion; it\u2019s a lot cheaper than\u00a0child support.<\/p>\n<p>Human traffickers like abortion too,\u00a0since it\u2019s a good way to keep their victims working. In the video below, you can listen to a former trafficking victim describe how she was forced into having two abortions, something she calls \u201cthe hardest.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/23BtN_lqGEY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Of course, it\u2019s not hard to set up a coerced abortion when you can go to someone like Amy Woodruff for help. Woodruff was a Planned Parenthood clinic director in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, and in 2011, Live Action\u00a0investigators recorded her with hidden cameras.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/L9Zj9yx2j0Y?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Although the investigators claimed to be pimps using child prostitutes, Woodruff wasn\u2019t bothered. In fact, she offered to arrange involuntary abortions on girls who \u201c<a title=\"Perth Amboy, NJ Planned Parenthood Full Footage Part 1 of 2 \" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=riX50sOhAyk\" target=\"_blank\">can\u2019t speak English<\/a>\u201d and \u201c<a title=\"Perth Amboy, NJ Planned Parenthood Full Footage Part 2 of 2 \" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=uj2XeLPRjns\" target=\"_blank\">won\u2019t know what\u2019s going on.<\/a>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Forced abortion is also a\u00a0<a title=\"By donating to Planned Parenthood, you can lend a hand\u2026 to an abuser.\" href=\"\/news\/by-donating-to-planned-parenthood-you-can-lend-a-hand-to-an-abuser\/\" target=\"_blank\">great option<\/a> for sexual predators. After all, a baby bump on an underage victim can raise dangerous questions. That&#8217;s why <a title=\" California Planned Parenthood Made Abortion Referral, Didn't Report Abuse\" href=\"http:\/\/archive.lifenews.com\/state3469.html\" target=\"_blank\">Gary Cross<\/a>\u00a0brought his 13 year-old stepdaughter to Planned Parenthood after impregnating her. Clinic staff didn&#8217;t alert authorities to the fact that she was pregnant and well below the age of consent. Instead, they referred her for a late-term abortion, thus allowing the abuse to continue on undetected. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2007\/05\/10\/state-2279\/\">John Blanks, Jr.<\/a>,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.boston.com\/news\/local\/connecticut\/articles\/2007\/08\/02\/charges_added_in_alleged_abduction\/?camp=pm\"> Adam Gault<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2014\/jul\/11\/denver-lawsuit-accuses-abortion-clinic-not-reporti\/?page=all\">Timothy Smith<\/a>, and Denise Fairbanks&#8217; <a title=\"RESOLVED: Fairbanks v. Planned Parenthood\" href=\"http:\/\/lldf.org\/resolved-fairbanks-v-planned-parenthood\/\" target=\"_blank\">father<\/a> all got similar help from Planned Parenthood too.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes doctors are the ones doing the coercing. <a title=\"Planned Parenthood refuses to disclose information in forced, botched abortion case\" href=\"\/news\/planned-parenthood-hides-behind-rehearsed-rhetoric-and-privacy-in-forced-botched-abortion-case\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ayanna Byer <\/a>went to Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains for an abortion in 2013. She later claimed in a lawsuit that although she changed her mind before the procedure began, she was prevented from leaving. Further, the abortionist left pieces of Byer\u2019s child inside of her, causing an infection.<\/p>\n<p>From organ sales to forced abortions, there\u2019s a lot at Planned Parenthood to dislike.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s something you may not like either: Planned Parenthood is getting your money. Every year, the group receives over <a title=\"Planned Parenthood receives record amount of taxpayer support\" href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/2013\/01\/08\/planned-parenthood-receives-record-amount-taxpayer-support\/\" target=\"_blank\">half a billion<\/a>\u00a0dollars in federal funding.
